I like that a single-DIN radio and the pocket can change between top and bottom, but if the pocket is on the bottom there really isn't any support for it. Sometimes I try to prop my hand weight on the pocket floor while adjusting the radio, but then the back bends down and the lower lip bends forward slightly. The next time I need to remove the radio I'll put the pocket on top so the radio supports it. The kit is contoured to the dash but doesn't match the standard color or texture of my 2006 Hyundai Sonata. I bought and installed this three years ago with a Sony CDX-GT240 and don't recall any troubles with installing it. 3 stars because it is useful for its intended purpose but could use some improvement. More support for the pocket and better overall sturdiness would earn 4 stars. That plus better interior matching could get to 5 stars. ... show more

Still does the job but I feel like the taps you screw in to your deck are a little easy to break off. But After all it did want I wanted it to do no problem. Iput a Pioneer AVH - 501EX and it worked perfect.

    • Need to be modified to fit a single din. Had to cut taller about 1/2 inch and wider about 1/4 inch

If your going to buy a single din unit from a big box store like Walmart you may run into the same issues as me , I needed to slightly modify to be able to fit my single din “Dual” unit . Had cut out approximately half a inch out of the top and a eighth of a inch out of each side .
