The tea set appears to be well constructed. I like that you the pieces fit together well with you being able to put leaf tea in the inner cup and when you pour the tea, the inner portion of the tea pot moves so that you do a clean pour. The only thing that surprised me was the size of the cups. The cups in the white set remind me of the tiny cups in a child's tea set rather than being adult size. So beautiful. We had so much fun watching it change colors. It does take time and boiling water but as the tea steeps the white turns from a pale pink to a very vibrant pink. Travel bag is very nice too with foam to protect the set when traveling.

Way smaller than I anticipated. The tea pot holds 1/2 a cup of liquid (I measured). It’s cute and would make a good little collectors item but probably not for someone who actually wants to make tea. The whole pot doesn’t even fill a standard teacup. I’ll probably not use this unless I’m playing pretend with my kids ... show more
