  • Need to clarify instructions but great product!
Got this for my 5yo and he loves it! Great educational toy and pretty easy to assemble. However the instructions on the manual need to be clearer. I almost returned this thinking the projection was faulty. Turns out there was a gap in between the planets and it wasn’t fully going in the slot. Once I got it to work, I thought the projection quality was terrible then realized you can adjust the focus by turning the ring just where the lens is. I saw some reviews about the projection quality and it’s probably because they didn’t know how to adjust it. Otherwise it works beautifully after figuring all that out! ... show more

  • Worth Every Penny!
I am thrilled with this! Educating a learning disabled child is never easy, but this wonderful "solar system" has just made our science lessons so much easier! I love the "reels" it came with (think viewmaster); and the touch feature, with its information on the planets is great. It's recommended for young children, but anyone who has a tough learner will benefit. Call it a toy and let them explore! ... show more

  • Interest thing and easy to set up
it's a very interesting nice little thing. all very clear projection and easy setup. It seemed not to work first though. it turns out there is a gap while assembling the holder. Kid's dad checked and figured all out. Just a little push and all sorted. Kid loves it and honestly, the ceiling projections look a bit romantic in a dark room ... show more

  • Very cute but audio has strong accent
Cute set, my daughter loved it but the audio that describes each planet has a strong accent.

  • Second time was perfect!
The media could not be loaded. First product I received was defective, so I had to return it: projector wasn’t clicking in place, had to keep pushing it down with one hand, and when I finally got it to project something, I couldn’t get it to focus and actually see anything (even after trying to turn & adjust the “focusing lens” it comes with). I asked for a replacement and was amazed on how fast it was delivered (couple of days). I’m happy to say: second one works perfectly! Audio can be set to English or Spanish. Planets can be moved and rotated around the sun. Comes with stickers to place on the base, over each planet button. Comes with 3 different photo wheels for projection. Was a gift for my 6 year old nephew (currently obsessed with anything space related) and he absolutely loved it! ... show more

  • cheap and frustrating
As many reviewers have written the most important feature, the lightbulb inside the 'sun' does not work or project. When first assembling the light worked for a few minutes but the images were too blurry to make out. Then when trying to adjust the slide or focus the image, the light went and never was able to get it to work again. The audio is very poorly done. Facts are very general about each planet. Nothing about distace from sun, length of rotation or specific facts to engage a young learner. Very dissapointed with this product. My grandson was ready to learn lots of facts and develop a better understanding of how our world fits into the solar system. All we are left with is a cheap but colorful model that is not interactive or informative. Do better please. ... show more

  • Son loves it
My son has played with this every day for two weeks. There’s a little bit of an accent on the voice recording so he’s asked me a few times what they are saying but he thought it was cool it had a Spanish option to listen to.
