I’m not sure what thickness and warmth have to do with this unit but it’s fairly thick, and makes my jeans warm. My second DSR jump pack and I have nothing but good things to say. Epic quality, and functionality. Cable leads are quite long, which is handy. Having the 110v outlet is excellent, though I’ve only ever used it for “low draw” components (ie - jobsite radio/cell phone charger and it does great for long periods of time. Charge time for the unit seems fairly fast too, though having the dedicated charging module thing is a bit of a pain.. just another cord on the tool box. ... show more

When the time came for me to try out my DSR 116, I used it on a BMW 750 that was completely dead, it started the car with no difficulity. I had not charged it for approximately 6 weeks.

    • Do not purchase from eToolDirect, They wasted my time and took my money for a defective product.
The Schumacher DSR116 pro is a well designed useful product. Unfortunately eToolDirect wasted my time and money. A signature was required for delivery, this was not communicated and no one was home upon delivery. UPS left a note for next day retry. I wasted time waiting, wasted time talking to a snippy offshore rep that insisted I requested I would pick it up at UPS and wasted time going through the painful process of picking my jump box up at the disgusting UPS facility. NOTE to Amazon...... END YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH UPS. The jump box shipped to me was old and the battery was dead and Sulfated. I wasted my money for a damaged product. I refuse to waste anymore time with this seller. SUGGEST NOT PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM eTool Direct! If I could give negative stars to seller I would. ... show more

I had bad batteries on my 2018 Freightliner Cascadia all winter long and when I would go home for the weekends my batteries would always drop down to a very low voltage. Powering 12V jump box. This single unit jump starts close to 40 12v vehicles on a single charge. Only complaint is these just dont last long. I have purchased over 20 of these jump boxes and they tend to last maybe a year on consistent daily usage for a huge auto auction. Internal parts are cheap and my main concern is these will lose a charge eventually whether is from a poor circuit board or the switch going bad. ... show more
