Believe the ratings; this is an extremely detailed, high quality, durable toy. It actually feels more like a piece of art than a toy, but it has been played with in mud, rocks, grass, legos, and the bathtub, and is going strong. We have numerous Schleich dinos and all are great, but there's something about this brachiosaurus that is a cut above. I got this for my daughter (age 6) and she loves it, and my son (age 4) who typically wants to play with whatever has the sharpest looking claws/teeth/grimacing face just wants to play with it too, so we'll likely need to order a second. Their friends tend to gravitate to it too when they're over, and I have to admit that I do too. It's just a really good piece, and if your kiddo likes dinosaurs even a tiny bit, just get this. My soon to be six year old grandson loves dinosaurs (and knows a lot about them too). I add a new specimen to every Christmas and birthday present catalog. Schleich has never let me down, and this one was no exception. So detailed and realistic! My grandson loves his collection. This one is one of my personal favorites so far.
