This dragon is stunningly beautiful in person. The body behind the wings has shimmery and glittery scales. The white inner and rainbow outer wing coloration is amazing in hand,, The expression and body form is dream and creativity inspiring. The wings come detached so the shipping box is smaller than expected. They attach easily via ball joints that insert into the ball sockets on the dragons body, so the wings are movable in multiple orientations. Our family absolutely loves Schleich because the quality and detail is unmatched. This is the first time I've ever been even slightly disappointed with a purchase. My only complaint is that the dragon came with this paint on the wing. My daughter still loves it nonetheless and it won't prevent me from ordering in the future. I bought this for my 8 yo daughter who loves dragons. She went crazy over it! It is a bit bigger, but a must for girls who love dragons! The wings are movable and can be removed for storage so they aren't damaged!

These brand of toys are very popular in our house. They are often played with in conjunction of building blocks (which make up castles, ancient ruins, houses, malls, etc). By far my 7 year old favorite toy. Very durable, well painted. Wings move. Waterproof as well.
