After looking at many of the reviews on this product, I realize there are definitely DIFFERENT products being reviewed from what I purchased. My photo shows everything that came with my kit, but I didn't realize it was not everything needed to do acrylic nails. One of items needed is some sort of nail prep dehydrator and some sort of 'bond' stuff. It is listed as Step 2 in the instructions, but is not included in the kit. I'm truly a beginner and had no idea there was anything else needed to make this work. So, now I can't use this until I get the other items. It's a waste of time. It would have been good to at least mention there are more items needed and I could have ordered them at the same time. I guess I'll have to update my review on how this works once I'm able to use it. ... show more

As a beginner I loved this kit it was easy to use and came with everything I needed to get started. Eventually I will replace the items as they run out with full sized items but I like that everything was included, even different color acrylic powder like white and pink.

Opening the package you get hit with an intense nail salon smell. It's overwhelming and nearly made my eyes sting. The smell never faded even after two days. I decided to try it anyway to see what it's like. I messed up a nail and had to file it off. Huge mistake on my part! I had to throw away my nail file, my nail clippers, and the brushes I used for it. After four hours with my windows opened the smell hasn't faded at all. I'm worried that the nail dust I filed off is the source of the smell. I tried vacuuming and the smell hasn't gone down. The smell was giving me a headache so I tried shampooing the carpets, the couch, my ottoman, the couch pillows... That was two hours ago. I've had all the doors and windows open all day and the smell is still giving me headaches. I've thrown out everything that came into contact with the mail powders into the outside trash. You can now smell it whenever you open the trash can. Avoid this product at all costs!!! If you decide to use it, USE IT OUTSIDE!! I don't know if I'll ever get the smell out of my new couch or rug.
