I wanted to get an acrylic set because I don’t want to pay to get my nails done at a salon especially since they break so easily because of sports. I got this set to try and I actually love it so much. Acrylic is very hard to put on but the more I’ve done it the better I’ve gotten at it. Only thing I would warn of is that the nail file they provide is not very strong so I would recommend using your own or purchasing a separate one. But overall the product is very good! ... show more

For the price of this kit, I'm very impressed with the quality. I bought this for a quick fix for a broken nail. It was split in half and I wanted to save it as best as I could, so acrylic was my answer. The photos are from after the application of the clear. You can still see the crack through it but cannot tell there is anything on the nail. As of today, it's been 2 weeks since I applied the acrylic and it's still holding strong. I do see some discoloration beneath but I think that may be because of application error, I was rushed and had never used acrylic before. I plan to remove and reapply but it's not a big deal for now. ... show more

We started doing acrylics at home and this set was a great starter set to test out the base colors. I love that it came with a little glass cup/bowl - I didn’t have anything that small here at home.

It's good I'm new to this acrylic stuff but the monomer it's sooo strong very strong and I have pets in the house so I have to stop and throw it away in cat litter it's that strong.
