The glue wont hold the tip (maybe cpl days only) the dip wont adhere to nail unless you buy primer then the liquids dont last long so then you need to buy more liquids so when you order this order a primer and base and top coat on amazon. The glue holds really well but the nails are thin and flimsy that its easy to bend and make dents. Adding acrylic or gel over them helps with sturdy.

I started doing my own nails at home and enjoy the clear tips for certain styles. They are quite sturdy without being bulky! BUT they are definitely for larger fingers/nails. If you have small or narrow nails you will be wasting a lot of time shaping them and filing them to make them fit properly. Even after applying gels or dip powder, they remain sturdy without being too bulky. Just make sure to file the edge that meets your nail so that the gap/bump is even. The glue is pretty great and adheres well, and there were multiple in case one runs out/dries. The nail clippers tool is AMAZING!! Probably the best thing about the set. Great if you have larger nails; if you don’t, you’ll be running out of the smallest size pretty fast. ... show more

The quality of the nail clipper, and the nails themselves are really good! After I learned how to use the glue and how much glue to put on my nail, the nails are lasting already four days now. The color I use was a gel kit I had separately, but overall, this kit is really good and the glue stays on.
