I just finished my first steam sauna in the Eitpaw and am pleasantly surprised. A few things to be aware of, most importantly if you suffer from claustrophobia this may not be for you. The tent is 5' tall by 3' wide and 31" deep. It's a lot smaller than it appears in the marketing materials here...especially the shot of the woman sitting on the ground in front of this, who has clearly been reduced in size to make the tent look bigger. I really detest deceptive photos like that and would advise the seller to simply be honest, as returns from disappointed and deceived customers - not good for anyone. With that point out of the way, on to the good. I started by filling the steamer to the high water line. The water I used was cold, so it took about 30 minutes for the steam to begin filling the tent, even though I had it set to 9 (it's highest setting). Once inside, it slowly started filling the with steam, but really kicked in when I engaged the "fog" option, a feature that atomizes the water and literally produces a foggy effect. Even with the setting on high, I didn't feel uncomfortably warm. Comparing these portable saunas, many have steamers that are 1200 to 1500 watts. This is an 800 watt unit, but it worked just fine, just a little slow in the beginning. Next time I'll set it to the medium mark and start with room temp water. For a test, I put a few drops of eucalyptus oil in the water, and that was a wonderful sinus opening experience! The tent itself simply pops open, unfolds and is ready for use, all within less than 30 seconds, plus an extra minute or two, to connect the steamer, set up the included chair etc. I love the fact it has no poles. These folding tents are a bit tricky to master when it comes time to put them away, but once you get the hang of it, they're great. It all folds down to a small disk and fits in a cheap little cloth bag, which I've already replaced with a Christmas wreath storage bag. Once inside, I stayed there for 30 full minutes (again on the high setting) and definitely broke a sweat. I could easily have stayed in another 15 - 30 minutes if time would have allowed, but it also gets pretty boring in there. This is nothing like being in a dry sauna, with light, warm colored wood, etc. rather more like the ambience of a detention cell in the basement of an industrial boiler room. You're not going to be able to use your phone in that environment, and if you wear glasses...forget those too. Frankly, It's kind of a lonely timeout! One good thing, there is a clear zippered window to let at least some light in. I took the remote inside with me, but not sure how well it will hold up to the steam over time. Also, I couldn't tell what the settings were on the unit when pressing the up and down buttons, so you might just leave that outside the door for safe keeping. I can definitely see using this on cold winter days for a deep penetrating heat throughout my body. For now, it's a novelty and time will tell how much use it will actually get. I can also see using it while camping, as my EcoFlow battery will easily power it for a full hour - long enough to get a good steam. If you're thinking about getting one of these, I have no qualms recommending this unit. Just keep in mind, it's an inexpensive portable sauna, and don't get your expectations too high regarding quality. Enjoy! ... show more

I honestly did not know that you could have a portable Sauna. When I came across this Portable Sauna, I had to get this and try this out. From the product description, the Sauna seemed like something that my entire family could benefit from. My two teenage daughters are heavily into sports, this would be an ideal treatment for them - obviously not for a cool down, but when their muscles ache or just need to unwind. Not that we've gotten this home, I have NO regrets on this decision. Below, I will outline some of the factors I considered when deciding to choose this one. *Design: Portable Sauna- Portable chair- Foot massage rest- 360 steam-Rapid heat- 9 temp levels-can use essential oils- spices etc. Waterproof - transparent window *Functionality: Made with a double zipper- waterproof using Oxford Cloth which is premium- flexible spring steel poles that are simple to use- assembly is finished in under 10 minutes *Uses: to help with unwinding after chaotic days- great when your teens stress you out- excellent way to relax (use a little lavender or essential oil) so good and deter body coldness- helps me with aches and pains also helps my sinuses *Pops open in 10 seconds- closes in 30 seconds *Time limit: 90 minutes *Safety features: -anti-dry burning -anti-leakage -anti-explosion also AUTO POWER OFF *Remote control *Water capacity of steamer: 3 Liters which equates to 60 minutes *Dimensions for your reference: 58.5 x 33.5 x 33.5 inches *Material : cotton *Power: 800W 110 V All in all, I find that the designer went to great lengths to make sure this portable Sauna is safe for consumer use. They've invested into making sure those features are in place. The unit itself is very well engineered and constructed. The material is of fine grade- OXFORD cloth is known for its excellent performance. I used this, as well as one of my daughters. It fits one person, but the experience for both of us has been incredibly nice. For me, I felt so much more relaxed. I tend to have a great deal of tension in my neck area. After using this I feel so much better. Therefore, based on a very positive experience with this portable Sauna, I would gladly recommend this to other consumers. Of note- please please be sure to let this COOL down for 30 minutes to avoid a burn with disconnecting tubes. No qualms of any sort. I do greatly appreciate your time reading my review.     • Wish it Was Bigger
If your expectations are realistic you will be happy with size and performance. As the name clearly implies, it is a portable sauna. It fits in the trunk of any car, no matter the size. That's great if you travel a lot like I do. Very light and easy to use. My comments may sound contradictory, but please keep reading. Although it takes much longer to warm up than I expected, it provides enough heat to make me feel like I'm in a real sauna. It does help me relax and that was my main intent in ordering it. However, the major issue for me is that the size makes me feel uncomfortable after about 15 minutes or so and I'm not even claustrophobic. It is just that 59 inches tall is not that much. Thus, while it relaxes me for a few minutes, it is counterproductive if I stay longer. I worry about somebody who is claustrophobic. If that's your case, you may want to consider whether it is worthy it. ... show more
