Sturdy crate for our 14 month Standard sized Labradoodle! Probably not ideal for an aggressive chewer, because if the particle board and it's not super secure for a big dog. This was very well made, easy to put together, it is a bit odd that the screws take 2 different Allen wrenches and a screwdriver (all included) but the screwdriver is only for 8 of the screws. I put this together in about 20 minutes, then realized the doors are very small (12.5" x 12.5") for the 26" x 19" kennel. A standard 24" x 18" kennel has a door almost twice the size. I would have given 5 stars except for the door. ... show more

First of all, this is a nice piece of furniture and, so far, seems sturdy and well built. About putting it together- Make sure you look at all of the instructions and pay attention to the pilot holes. I had to redo a few steps because I got parts put in backwards or upside down. One of the last steps is to install an L bracket between the top and the divider between the two storage section. Put the bracket on the top BEFORE you install the top. The space is small, the screw is close to the divider so you can't just spin the allen wrench, it was a huge pain in the butt. Attaching the bracket to the divider isn't fun, but at least there's room enough to use a hex head screw driver. I hope this helps. ... show more

I love the way it looks, works and the fact that once it got here I got to sleep in my bed again lol. The new puppy would cry if left in larger crate in living room. I slept in my chair or on the couch for a week until it arrived it works perfectly, when I got to bed. He goes to bed .

Perfect for my pups. relatively easy to put together. It’s cute and fits my homes aesthetic nicely. With that being said it’s not the best quality metal. My dogs don’t mind their crate. But if you have a dog that’s an escape artist or a little destructive I would not recommend this product. The door is awkwardly positioned and the latch leaves more to be desired. Assembled this today for my 8 year old Australian Shepard. Putting it together was a challenge as there were several points where the directions were unclear/lacking. I made 2 mistakes that I had to redo. Once properly assembled it is quite sturdy. The directions could definitely be improved which is the reason for the 4 star review. Start to finish it took 2.5 hours to assemble. Once complete, I didn’t like how it sat on the floor so I made two modifications. First, I used a sawzall to remove the little legs. I then secured it to a coffee table that was the same size and style with adhesive and brackets. I’m happy with the finished result.
