I have a year long tree, so I needed something that wasn't Christmas-like for the base. I was really pleased with this! It's soft, pretty, and covers so nicely! It has held up well so far and I bought it a couple months ago. My granddaughter decorates at the bottom of the tree by changing up the village on the bottom of the tree, so it has things that go on the front of the skirt. It has held up beautifully.     • Lovely and simple
I've been looking for a tree skirt for several years and never purchased one (I just bunched up some fabric around the base) because most of them are just too busy or cheesy for my taste...I live in a turn of the century house and my tree reflects that somewhat, with lost of hand made looking ornaments and mercury glass. So I wanted a skirt that complimented that without cheesy appliques. This perfectly fits the bill and looks just lovely. I expected a brighter red, but am very happy with the deeper tone...the whole thing has a timeless look that could easily have come from pottery barn yesterday or been made by a talented housewife 100 years ago and that is just what I want. My only complaint is that I read that the skirt is HUGE and some people needed to bunch it up under...maybe that was a cable knit but the pleated skirt is not huge...in fact I was convinced I had the wrong size when I opened it up. In truth, the size is just fine, but I would not say it's overly generous. Bottom line is I love it and feel like it really completes my tree :-) ... show more

This really is a great quality tree skirt. I wanted something that didn't look manufactured but more homemade and and simple and this is exactly what I was looking for! It' soft and made extremely well. Over all it's fantastic for it's price.

Wondering why this beautiful tree skirt is touted as “thick”. When removed from the bag there was absolutely no weight, almost limp. I was very careful when spreading it out for this reason as it wasn’t a tight weave. Presents great on the floor once smoothed out. Incredibly soft, maybe too soft, if you wore it as a sweater you’d find a pull, hole, snag of some sort before long. It’s that delicate. The color and cable add a richness which do not disappoint. Just measure carefully. We bought a 4’5” artificial tree (Amazon sells—it’s lovely), not decorated yet. Thought the 36” would be perfect but a few gifts and skirt doesn’t show much. Topper, it arrived with a hole already! Good thing I have a knitting friend to mend if I don’t send it back. The new arrival date is after January 1st. Hmmm....no skirt, maybe I can put pants on it! ... show more
