It was my first time working with fondant, it was hard to roll out and soften and keep it in place, it kept cracking so I YouTubed some hacks, pour some water and microwave it and keep kneading until it’s soft.

If you are looking for bright red this is your color but I wanted a maroon color. Took me a lot of time to get the desired color. After trying several options, the best way to make it darker was to mix it with black icing color. Changed it to a slightly orangish tint. But was closer to maroon.
