Canister worked as described. It helped my car pass emmisions.

  • True OEM part
I had initially purchased an aftermarket Dorman part and still had the P145C code on my 07 Acura TL Type S. Until I went with this OEM part and had it installed, cleared the code and it never returned after 30 minutes of run time and putting on a load. I will monitor this going forward but so far code has not returned. This seems to be a known issue occurring for TL’s. Go with OEM as a replacement! ... show more

  • CEL P0443 06 TL base/navi
Kept getting codes P0443 P0497 P0457 (1 of them was poping twice) but I did the instal myself maybe 20 minutes in 15 degree weather, youtube videos say you need to remove the fuse box but I didnt have to, just needed a small extention 10mm socket.. I had my mechanic clear the code for me so the system can restart correctly and my car passed emmission test the next morning 😁😁 UPDATE: light still come on so I will replace the gas call and and give another update ... show more

  • Made in Japan by Honda's OEM component manufacture
The indications I had in the car was a check engine light. My scan tool showed both cylinder banks on my V6 were running rich. Often this code showing both banks running rich is traceable to the Canister Purge Solenoid malfunctioning.. The solenoid offered by Amazon is a Denso that is made in Japan...fit right in. Comes with new rubber mounts. The hoses leading to the purge valve should be replaced also. The top one is formed with a curve. This one is inexpensive through your Acura dealer. As long as I was at the dealer I got the bottom hose also. 20 minutes to change and the Check Engine light is no longer illuminated. Good for another 290,000 miles on my 2005 Acura TL. ... show more

  • 4 days in, so far so good. Helpful tips in my review.
Installed 4 days ago and so far so good, the "Tighten Fuel Cap" message is gone. I did notice the Denso sensor I received was made in Japan as opposed to the one I removed which was made in Mexico. Quick tip, you have to re-use the metal washer and nut that originally tightened the sensor to the manifold so be extra careful not to drop them. One of the air hoses (the one that connects to the top part of the sensor) was stuck so I pushed it back slightly with a flathead and used WD40 and let it sit a little to penetrate to make it easier to unstick, penetrating oil would probably be best but I didn't have any available. Goodluck, hope my review has been helpful. ... show more
