I love how simple it is to use. Battery pack isn’t heavy and doesn’t affect the fit of the headset. It just plugs right in and off you go. We have multiple kids and used to have to stop and charge in between each kiddos turn. So as you can see from the pictures, I have extended battery from the same company. When that finally runs out , these are sooo nice and convenient to pop right in and get those extra gaming hours in. You just remove the other cord and plug it in, it fits perfect and isnt awkward or heavy on the headset! So far I’ve been able to get about 3-5 hours with this battery. This was the only small battery that directly attaches to the quest 3 and provides the correct voltage/amps for the quest 3 (9V-2A, 18W). Can confirm it charges/runs the Quest 3 when the power is low though its not going to charge it fully up as its essentially the same size as the onboard battery so it really just extends playtime. Thats fine really as I wanted a small battery to snap in ands keep playing for a while when the battery is low. Its super light and doesn't really get in the way at all, though I wish it was connected by more than just the usb port as it could eventually weaken or damage it, but it does stay on pretty well for now and is pretty closely positioned to the headstrap so puts minimal torque on it. ... show more

The Quest 3's battery doesn't last as long as the Quest 2, but with this little charger you can easily go another 2 hours or more. Love it. And no usb-c cable hanging off to the side.

I've tried a whole plethora of unofficial Quest 2 battery packs and they've either not worked at all or didn't do what was advertised. However, this little device works, but it's a bit tedious to use. You have to be careful that you don't knock it off because it is in a bit of an inconvenient spot. Especially if you need to adjust your headset. And if you inadvertently damage that port, then your headset will need to be replaced -- not fun. It lasts a very long time... I think I clocked four hours or a bit more. So, I'm pretty pleased with how long the charge lasts. Additionally, it does add some significant weight. So, if you use the standard strap that comes with the headset, you'll certainly feel the weight. Lastly, please be aware of two things: one, when charging the battery pack by itself, it will overheat. Therefore, I find it a requirement to keep the battery pack plugged into the headset while charging to prevent this issue. Also, the most inconvenient part is the need to remove the battery pack every time you're done playing because it will continue to drain the battery even if you power down the headset. The headset will be "off" yet the green light will be on and the battery pack will continue to be in use. So, pull it out first, then power down your headset. Other than that, for the price, and based on my experience, I'd say this is a decent purchase. ... show more
