  • Fantastic Card for 1080p and 1440p Gaming!
I absolutely love this card. I bought a 1440p 144hz monitor and had a 5500XT 8GB that just couldn’t keep up. The 5600XT is way more then just a step up. It’s about 60% faster and on par if not better in some titles then a 2060 by Nvidia. While the 5600 XT is touted as “the ultimate 1080p card” I think this was before the VBIOS update because it can handle its own at 1440p too. I get great performance at 1440p and get 60fps on Ultra/Max settings and 90+ on High settings on most titles. (Most titles you can barely see a difference between High and Ultra.) Pretty amazing for a $300 (or less) card. Obviously with performance like that at 1440p means at 1080p this card is an absolute beast. Getting well over 100fps on basically every title. The one and only “con” if you can even call if that is that for some reason AMD decided to only give this card 6GB of VRAM. Probably has to do with the fact that the cards it was supposed to compete with (1660ti) and even the original 2060 had 6GB too. But while 6GB is fine right now for high refresh 1080p and 1440p gaming it might not hold up as well a few years down the road. I haven’t had any issues with this though and I don’t see it being a problem until you will need to upgrade anyways. The Sapphire Pulse 5600XT in particular is a very premium card for its price. It offers fantastic cooling and is very quiet. The build quality is amazing and I’ve never had any issues with the temperatures. I’ve overclocked but there isn’t much room to do so... it usually only adds a few FPS but it is quite capable and stays very cool still if it’s something you want to do. Remember this is the BE version of the Pulse. The only difference between this and the original is that this shipped with the VBIOS update already on it (I believe they both do now), this card does not come with the BIOS switch, this one does not have the light up (RGB?) Sapphire logo on it, and this one is about an inch shorter then the original. Besides those things this card performs the exact same. If you don’t mind not having a dual BIOS switch and some RGB on the card then this BE model is usually a little cheaper then the original model. All in all you can’t go wrong with this card. If you want a card that performs at a very high refresh rate 1080p and very good 1440p at an amazing price this is the card for you. I’ve never had any issues with drivers and I couldn’t be happier with the performance of this card. 11/29/20: The price of these cards has gone up recently because of the unavailability of the Nvidia 3000 series and AMD 6000 series. I would not spend anymore then $350 on this card and even that is pushing it. I would wait until everything calms down before buying a gpu or cpu right now. ... show more

  • Best for your buck... Almost perfect
Now it's working amazing but it gave me a bunch of annoying errors and lack of performance just installed and days after until I fix it, I had an NVidia GPU b4 and my conclusion is erase any trace of the old drivers software bloatware then install this new GPU first using basic Windows Update then install AMD software and then it should be all green go full speed ahead ") ... show more

  • Nice compact form factor
Note that this is the "BE" (black edition) version of the card that does not have LED lighting. However, it does not require a BIOS upgrade to get 14 Gbps memory bandwidth as some versions of the standard edition do. Overclocking to the same MHz levels as the standard edition is also supported. However, the most important consideration is that this card is more compact and fits perfectly on a micro ATX motherboard. So, for a full size ATX board, I would probably get the standard edition, and for a micro ATX board, I would get the BE edition (this one). ... show more

  • Good upgrade!
It is a good GPU so far, I am going from 2 GeForce GTX 680’s in SLI to this card so it was a huge upgrade for me. My tower fans are a lot quieter, and I barely any noise increase since. For gaming it has performed as advertised, and the FPS has improved on most of my games. It was a great buy for the price. ... show more

  • Sapphire 5600 XT BE
I had a MSI RX 480 Gaming X before this card. While the heatsink may be a little smaller than the other 5600 XT it still works fine Also there is no dual BIOS on this card I also just got a Acer 4K monitor and playing Overwatch was a huge difference I have a big case with lots of airflow so temps are great for me I also changed the Thermal grease to Noctua NT-H1 $269.99 is great price for this GPU STRUZZIN ... show more

... show more

  • Great for 1080p gaming
Definitely not the best on the market but does the job. No noise, doesn’t skip a beat, and for the cherry on top, AMD Radeon program syncs with everything to have full control. I’m sad that there’s no lighting in it though. But, next upgrade I’ll be getting the RGB model.

  • Great video card
Great performance and very stable. Idle wattage is higher than normal for some reason. Edit: the idle wattage is related to the memory clock idling at 1002 MHz when you're using 4k resolution. If you drop the resolution to 1440p then the idle clocks drop to 200 MHz and the idle power cuts in half! Edit2: latest drivers seem to have fixed it! ... show more
