I like that they are easy to change from corse to fine ground. They do each take 4 AAA batteries, hopefully they last a long time. I also like the light, it helps not get too much salt.

I love the ease and convenience of these however one stopped working after only a few uses. I thought it might be the batteries as it wouldn't turn on. Put in new batteries. Still nothing.

    • So far, these are working out just fine.
For 20-ish bucks (Now, 30-ish bucks), you can't go wrong. I particularly like that I don't have to keep putting batteries in them. The grinding mechanism is plastic, so longevity is a huge question. I've only used these grinders for a short while, but so far I like them. Particularly with grinding peppercorns, the motor seems to struggle a bit. I will use them every day and if they don't work out within the return period, I'll send them back and try another brand. I do think I will stay with rechargeable, battery-powered grinders, though. ... show more
