I seen this after buying tons of uncrustables that are ridiculously over priced. My husband and I even like them, neither of us mind the crust but it's easy to grab and go. My kids on the other hand hate the crust on any sandwich so I bought these bad boys! I now save a crap ton of money on PB&J/nutella sandwiches! 4 stars only because they become flat and are slightly too big for your standard great value or name brand bread. Our grandchildren love those namebrand, crustless, pre-made sandwiches that we buy at the grocery store. Especially when we go on our family ‘adventures’! But, they become costly, especially when they eat at least two at a time. So when I saw this product I was cautiously optimistic, especially because they are plastic and I had previously on the namebrand expensive metal one! But, for under $20 I thought that made it comparable to two large boxes of the store-bought sandwiches & worth a try. We have two granddaughters, A 10 year old and a four year old. They were excited to try it. Their favorite store bought crustless sandwich is the one made with hazelnut spread. So one evening we tried. It was so incredibly easy to use! Honestly, the toughest part was spreading the hazelnut spread on the bread. we found it easier to use a spoon to do that. Even our four-year-old was able to make these with very limited help from an adult! A few other tips that we discovered, especially helpful working with children, take the larger cutter and prior to putting on your peanut butter, jelly, hazelnut spread, etc. make a small indentation with that cutter. That allows you to see where to put the spreads. when you have the two pieces of bread together after making your sandwich, when using the large cutter to remove the crust it is helpful to rotate it slightly back and forth. This easily removes the crust. it takes a little bit of light pressure to use the sealer, but again, even a four-year-old could do it with little guidance and the 10-year-old had no issues! We did find a couple of times that we missed sealing it entirely on one small area of the sandwich, but that was no worry, we took the sealer and just pressed it on that area and it sealed the sandwich! Just a note of assistance, don’t add too much filler when creating a sandwich as that might cause it to pop through the bread slightly. Savoy Chef, the manufacturer, knows how to relate to their customers! Each package comes with Cute little joke cards, they send a separate email with an e-booklet on how to use the product and a follow up email because they had heard from other customers about an issue (we did not have any problems) & wanted to be certain that we were satisfied with their product! I can’t say enough good about this product. I know I will be buying these as gifts in the future and this will be saving our family money! ... show more
