Works well and has the perfect size I needed. I did screw up a little when disconnecting it because I broke the little flap it uses to close the connector while disconnecting it from the hard drive. Since this is very close to the cable I grabbed both and pulled. This broke the little lid.

I was having issues with my 4 year old 8 TB hard drive in backing up my Mac air. Time Machine spent days “cleaning up”. This new drive solved it. Quick backups and also extremely quiet. None of the noise form my old hard drive. And 4 TB at $149. Great price.
