I needed a small end table next to my couch to hold a beverage, TV remote, etc. A plus was an electric outlet /USB jacks and 2 drawers. It took 2 hours to assemble one end table but I was taking my time and I had to redo a couple of things during the process. But overall when done, I am very pleased with how it looks and it fulfilled my exact wants. The only thing that could be better are the drawer glides. They are plastic glides on the side with a plastic plug that is supposed to ride the glide. It is difficult to pull the drawers out but it can be done. Here are some tips based on my experience putting it together. 1. There aren't really words in the instructions so look at the drawings very closely and then look at them again. I missed the one where the screw holes for the glides were supposed to be and had to redo that. 2. Be very gentle with the wooden dowels especially at the first step because there's not much holding some pieces up. One of my dowels broke in half and I ended up having to drill out the dowel and thankfully I had a metal dowel I inserted instead to replace it. Most of the pieces like screws came with an extra one but not the wooden dowels. 3. There are circular plugs that connect with the rods to tighten and hold them. There are probably words for those but I don't know what they are. Anyway when you insert a plug into the hole, look at the arrow on the plug. That will tell you it needs to be pointed at the rod. Then it becomes very easy inserting and tightening them. ... show more

The table is nice and the ports are super handy, but it does suffer from the same issues so many of these build-them-yourself items do - the directions aren't great, but doable, however, the screw holes are too small or slightly misaligned far too often. I actually broke my screwdriver's tip putting it together. I didn't think you could even do that. I'm stronger than I thought. LOL Overall, it is a nice piece. This was not only a reasonably priced end table. This was one of the most organized furniture boxes I've received in some time. For one, Each screw/tool was labeled by number in it's own separate bag, which made it SUPER easy to follow directions. Each piece of the furniture was labeled with a letter sticker and literally ALL the pre-drilled holes were completely and correctly pre-drilled!!! No improvising, no redrilling holes, and no questioning whether or not you're doing it correctly. Once assembled, the outlets worked great & each side table were completely sturdy!!! Assembly instructions were easy to follow - took approx 2hrs. Unfortunately the ridges for the drawer pieces did not match up (poorly made or low quality), so we had to force fit the drawer bottoms in. Now that it’s assembled it looks nice and the built in outlet works well.

I spent a long time looking for end tables and decided on two of these. When I opened the boxes everything was well-packed and protected. There were no parts missing and no blemishes on any of the pieces. For assembly, it definitely helps to have a short, thick screwdriver to get into some tight spaces. I did have two small issues during assembly. Step 10 (attaching the drawer side rails to the side walls) should really be done *before* step 8 (attaching the side walls to the back), otherwise it's *very* hard to do later. Also in step 8, the side walls should be the reverse of what the image shows; either that or the labels on the side walls are wrong. Overall it took about 90 minutes to put together each end table. One small gripe is that the pegs to stop the drawers from pulling all the way out work, but would be better if they were just a little bit longer. Overall they look wonderful and very solid. The diagram says the top can support 220 lbs! I'm very happy I chose these. ... show more

    • You’ll need more than patience & the instructions manual to build this

The end result was okay and it turned out okay but: 1. Their instructions were wrong. The label A on the instructions had the label 1 on the board. 2. The instructions had 2 boards the other way around. I had to unscrew most of it then re-screw cause the manual didn’t make sense. 3. Some of the screw holes are not pre-drilled. You’d have to manually drill a lot of them. 4. I ordered 2 and one of them didn’t have enough screws. I ended up not having a screw in one of the holes. 5. I have a chip in one of the boards as it easily chips when you put a screw in. I would return it if I can but I’ve already built them & it’s more of a hassle to return it. ... show more
