First off, the price is right so I after I bought mine, I got one for my husband. The batter life is fantastic. One plus is the reversible plug USB Type-C cable charger, can also be used for your newer smart phone or tablets with the same outlet. It is a fast charger for either device. The screen is not perfect for video but when you go full screen it is good. I have been watching shows on it and the sound is fantastic. It is super fast, when you are doing regular browsing, social media, etc. I don't like that there is no delete key or cap lock but I figured it out. My printer didn't work with it, a Canon 2522 but my new HP prisma worked immediately. I love the big screen and it is very light weight. It has an ear phone jack and USB printer outlet and an extra one on the other side to charge your phone if you have an extra one. It does not come with any USB cables for printers, so keep your old one. ... show more

I bought this version for my father after he complained about viruses and antivirus software and all those persistent companies that put them on your computer to sell you the cure, I then liked it so I bought a more beefed up version for myself. So I'll write what he liked about this version. No worries about updates interrupting your use, no malware or antivirus pop-ups. It is super fast! The touchpad is super sensitive and 'clicks' items all the time when you're simply trying to scroll. You have to use two fingers to do so since there is no buttons to right click or left click. you can drag by pressing down on the touchpad though. Chromebooks can be tricky when finding printers that'll work with them so keep that in mind. The advertisement makes it out like the screen will blow your mind when you see it. Great screen size and great performance is the headline for this Chromebook. This is used mainly for streaming content. At this it exceeds all expectations. It doesn't seem to get overly warm and the battery life has been above average to average, with a larger screen I expected this. This isn't touchscreen and is not a reversible keyboard but screen size was paramount here not tablet ability. It's quick and responsive, I'll admit I'm still a PC user and as such I keep trying to right and left click on the touch pad and that's a no go as it's single button so no copy and paste from the touchpad which is unfortunate for me as I prefer that to key combos. Regardless of this small niggle everything else is good and I'm expecting to get a good few years out of this then repurpose it after that! Having to do again I think I'd opt for touchscreen and a reversible keyboard. But for what this is, it's a great product. The screen is quite thin so be careful! ... show more

I did not know that to plug in my speakers and copier Id need a USB C to VGA HDMI MultiPort Adapter, USB C Hub (5 in 1), with 4K HDMI VGA Port, 100W Power Delivery, USB 3.0 Data Port, 3.5mm Mic/Audio Jack. But Amazon had that also and I ordered it and expect it tomorrow. I guess Im not up on what changes have been made since my last new laptop 2 years ago. I bought this chromebook recently and it has not disappointed me. The screen is nice and big; despite other reviews on the display, i find that for an average customer (that i am) the display is more than alright. The angles of viewing the screen is optimally head on but even from other slight angles, the screen displays well. Also, in my opinion, the coloration does not seem washed out as other reviews have said. for me it seems fine. I'm going to use this laptop for college purposes and having tested it out, streaming videos while working on assignments on (multiple) different tabs has no lag of any sort. This is a huge disappointment. I've had Windows and then for years Mac. My Mac Air, after 7 years, was still working, except for the battery lasting 30 min. on a charge. TMI-but I've been laid off and could not justify the expense of another Mac. So I listened to friends who said Chromebook was inexpensive and was the "new" Mac. This is a piece of junk. It's not intuitive at all. I have to google the simplest of tasks. So much makes no sense, like having to click on the time of day to access tasks or use the printer icon to email websites and links, or use 2 steps or more for every move you make. I was told Chromebook was designed for students and really easy to use. Not! Going back and forth to read the manual is a PIA. Also, the screen has an opaque look to it, as if it's supposed to be antiglare-but it's the opposite. It looks like there must be a plastic film to pull off the screen. Such a disappointment from the Mac Air screen clarity. And, the volume is practically non-existent. I literally have to put my ear close to the laptop to hear videos. And to top it off, it is super sensitive to the mouse and I am always getting a screen pop on or off without my having clicked. Then it scrolls in the opposite direction to other systems. Chromebook tried so hard to design a unique operating system that they created a monster. A large part of this may be Samsung. I purchased this with credit card points or I would be even more unhappy with this purchase than I am already. ... show more
