I have the 65" TV paired to my Milan surround sound system and I have to say the sound is amazing. The picture is bright and sharp and can be adjusted to suit anyone's viewing preferences. A lot of the reviews mentioned that the remote that comes with the TV can ONLY be charged using Solar, this is NOT TRUE. The remote is also chargeable by a standard C-cable. If you would rather use your phone, then Samsung Smart Things works great as well. I bought this in January and wanted to give it at least 3 months before writing this review. Bottom line is this, if you want a great viewing experience for a decent price, then you should definitely consider purchasing this Samsung Smart TV. Now, if you are like me and check the reviews before you buy, then check out the 1 star reviews. There is a review that shouldn't be there in my opinion. There is a gentleman complaining about a line down the middle of the screen. He even provided pics. If you look closely at the pictures, you can clearly see that it is the cable from the sound bar drapped over the front of the set. Funny, think Amazon missed that one. ... show more

There really isn't anything to dislike about the whole process. I feel I got exactly what I paid for--at least for my purposes. I paid less for my new TV than I did for my old one, and it has more bells and whistles than I will ever need. The heavy-duty packaging was perfect. It was so well thought out and easy to get to the TV. For me personally. I needed to have two people lift the TV onto the stand--not because it's heavy--it is wide. My arms weren't long enough. The best part is that it was so easy to set it up and get it running. I couldn't be happier with the whole process. I hope this Samsung 65-inch TV lasts as long as my last one (also a Samsung 55-inch) did. For now, I love the bigger screen for watching movies and the sound doesn't elevate when it's time for the advertising. I read the reviews about the solar remote. As it was an option, I just used my USB cord for my new Kindle to charge it--no problem. The remote is simple to use, also. I would highly recommend this TV for the average TV connoisseur; however, I cannot address it's gaming potential. Happy TV watching!!!! Let me start by saying, we love the tv. The picture is amazing, and it's easy to use. The speakers are terrible though. When we watch a movie we end up with the sound cranked all the way up and we still need the captions on.

We love our new TV. I did do some research prior to purchasing this TV. so I was pretty comfortable with buying it. My TV just bit the dust so I wanted one ASAP. This is what is so great about AMAZON. I researched what size I wanted, in the price range I could afford, checked other stores, and AMAZON had it, the price is right, and they delivered it to my door. Picture is great, sound is a little weak. WE do have a sound bar which we do use for some movies and shows. My remote is set up with my cable co. so not using the one that came with it. But there a lot of features it offers that I am not utilizing at this time. ... show more

We were looking for a much bigger TV to go on our wall in our family room. I was really kind of set on an LG, when I came across this TV. As I read the reviews really carefully I was worried about the remote but the TV sounded great. The TV is absolutely fantastic! I have to say that I like the remote. It is quite small but it's nice that it will do a solar charge or you can hook it into a USB as well. You do want to keep track of the remote because it is small but I think it's really easy to use. The TV is super clear. Some people say that they don't think it's very bright but I think it's more than adequate. They also mentioned some settings that were a problem for them. Specifically an artifact setting for sports. I watch a lot of sports and I was worried about it but when I went into the detailed menu from the good gentleman who wrote about that in his review, my settings were already set to a 2. And that's what he had suggested as well. So basically we hung it on the wall. It took about 5 minutes to set up and we were streaming happily minutes later.
