These are all glass except for the lid of course and then with the plastic on the outside. I just got them yesterday (10/29/24) and I just finished washing them today, so I'll let them sit for 3 days to be sure they're completely dry on the inside. I also showed a picture of what I use to wash my dishes and pots and pans because after they are used for a while of course they lose a little bit of their density, and it fits easily inside these S&P shakers to clean. I read a few reviews that complained that the salt came out too fast, but I never see that as a problem because to me it's like driving a new car and getting used to the brake level compared to the car you are used to driving. What I mean is you'll get used to the flow and for salt I always sprinkle it so it touches my hand and then I can tell for sure how much I am adding to my food. Also, I use fine Himalayan Pink salt and it is a bit thicker than say Morton salt, so it doesn't flow as quickly. I got these for $7.99! They were 50% off and I was so pleased because I couldn't justify the full cost being on only a Social Security income. In July 2023 I bought on sale of course a pink set of ceramic pots and pans by GreenLife and I have a pink Kitchen-Aid hand mixer. Old people sure blab a lot don't they?! LOL ... show more
