I love this faja because has a good compression i am 5'2 and 175 pounds. I have been using size l but the only thing that I dont like of that faja is the wide straps are uncomfortable and hurt your shoulders. I have to add extra hook but it still doesnt work like it shows in the first picture. But now I bought a size M and fit good but this time I ordered with regular straps like second picture, and what I like about it is that it covers the fat on your back like second picture but if you dont have fat on your back the 3 picture will fit good. I hope this descriptions help you make a good decision. But if this is the first time that you use faja, I commend L. ... show more

Hi Ladies, I've been wearing this Faja for about 10 years now. It supports me in many ways. When getting this Faja, you must get it 2 sizes bigger to be able to breath. I am a 2XL and purchase a 4XL. You will NOT be able to get in if you buy your size. 2 sizes and it will still be tight but once you've broken it in, it is comfy and shapes your body like an hour glass. I absolutely love how my butt looks in it! Second advice, purchase bra strap extenders! Yes, extenders- 2 hook extenders because it is tight. I usually use 2 extenders per shoulder. You can get it on Amazon as well. Well worth getting. Lastly, for hygienic reasons it's best to not wear underwear with this. I don't recommend using the whole on the bottom when using the rest room but to actually unbuckel yourself. If you were this faja for a good 3 months everyday, your body will start to sculpt! Last one! Do NOT put this in the dryer, ever! ... show more

Another update, bought wingslove brand bra extenders on Amazon and it is a game changer for me. The 3/4 inch ones work perfectly and my shoulders don't hurt anymore. Highly recommend these for anyone that experiences shoulder pain like I did from the short shoulder straps. photo of my shoulder before using the bra extenders and after wearing this for a day. I'm really torn on this item, as you may see. I love these bodysuits and have owned multiple. This is my first experience with this model though... I look for the zipper ones because the hook and eye loop closer is crazy time consuming and I never use it. The last model I had on this bodysuit (not this exact model) had thin shoulder straps that eventually wore down and broke. So, I purchased this one with nice thick straps however they DIG into your shoulders and I'm not tall by any means-nor do I have a long torso. The shoulder straps are held together with hook and eye clips (which I didn't realize prior to purchasing) When I go to the bathroom and pull the item down, the hook & eye clips disconnect, and I must reconnect them to put the item back on my shoulders - a bit of an inconvenience. I also had really deep marks on my shoulders the first 3 weeks of wearing this and it was flat out painful. (but it made my clothes look better, so I sucked up the pain). I also tried putting tissues under the straps to keep them from digging and it gave a tiny bit of relieve. But 3 weeks later and I think the straps are starting to stretch out a bit which eases the pain a little... the negative to this is; how long with these last. The eye loops on the shoulders appear to be pulled a bit away from the fabric which is not a good sign, so my relief comes at a consequence. Otherwise, I like this product because it makes my clothes look better on me. Just adding that it's a pain in the neck trying to go to the bathroom and undress with this on at work- it takes a good amt of time to get in and out of even with just using the zipper at the waist. * note I am 198lbs at this moment (hopefully not for long), 5' 5" and I always order a 3x in this brand. I would NEVER fit in a 2x, wouldn't be able to zip it up the front...the 3x is tight enough. Hopefully this info helps someone, cuz I"m cringing as I type my weight to display to the public. --If you weight 215lbs or more, IMHO def go another size up-no one’s going to see the size tag on your girdle/outfit-it's worth it. ... show more
