So I'm going to be as honest and detailed as possible. I am 5'6 192 athletic build 36f-32-43. I broke toes and gained some weight sitting around. This faja is AMAZING!! I previously purchased an expensive Leonisa body shaper in an XL the material was thin and the straps wore very quickly the crouch opening is short about 3.5in. I purchased this faja in a size XL. The reviews on here are EXTREMELY misleading and untrue! In the pics you can see that this faja curves in the waist and has a longer torso whereas the black one is wide no shape and shorter. This faja is true to size and feels good on. I did have to adjust the straps to the longest setting. The crotch hole in the faja is 6 inches and plenty of room to use the rest room without mess. Where the hooks are in the front there is a flap under so that it doesn't dig into your stomach. The dress I have on I'm the picture is a very spring and clingy jersey material. I used it to give u the best picture of my shape in clothing and how the faja looks under it. As u can see there is a difference in my shape and the faja is not visible at all!!! Please trust me when I say get your true size don't size up. I trusted a similar review and the fact that it ships prime. Worst case scenario you send it back and get another. This faja didn't do much for my butt in the dress but despite the pics it does round out and lift my butt in pants and jeans. I love this faja and you can't beat the price. Most are selling for 100$ and over. I really hope this review and my pics help! ... show more

Okay so this is for my thick size ladies who aren't in the plus but isn't small enough for the juniors!!! I wear a 14/16 and I wear a 40DDD bra. I bought a 2XL and it fit perfect. A little tight at first which is expected! And YES I DID BREAK A SWEAT PUTTING THIS ON! Overall a good purchase. Hope this helps ... show more

Ok, ladies. I’m 5’3”, 170 ish pounds. 28 waist, 45 hips and 36DD bust. I bought a XL. This is a legit COLOMBIAN faja and it fits as such. The people complaining about it running small have the wrong expectations. Colombian fajas are TIGHT. They do not go on easily. At first, they look and feel like they’re not gonna fit, but you gotta take your time putting them on. Little by little. Lay flat on your bed to close them. Once on, they’re extremely comfortable and loosen up a bit. You will not find a better faja than these. If you’re looking for the American style undergarment, which is loose and barely shapes you, then look elsewhere. This is not the shaper for you. If you’re looking to tighten everything up and shape your curves, and are willing to spend 10 mins putting this on, then get this one. ... show more

I asked a question on this page about this garment about if it was crotch less or not & I got several answers addressing the size of the garment running small & that I needed to buy 2 sizes up. Um, no. The people that wrote that are just lazy & should stick with spanx which are made by & for lazy Americans. I am a size large through & through. At 5'4" and 170lbs the size large fits me perfect. I think what the problem is, is that the people saying to buy 2 sizes up aren't wanting real Shapewear. Real Shapewear isn't easy to get into. It might take 10-15 minutes because you need to stop to breathe a couple times & it may require help from another person. If you really want to look good in a fitted dress, shrink your skin after pregnancy or a lipo/tummy tuck procedure this kind of garment is your best bet. Also it should be noted that the garment isn't as hard to get into the more you wear it. It stretches & somewhat shapes itself to your needs. I bought a garment by this brand in an xl because I stupidly read & trusted the reviews & it was only a tiny bit challenging to get into & stretch out after one day of wear so much so that it no longer held my stomach in place. So I bought this one (same brand) in the size large & it is perfect. If you don't want to work to get into a REAL Shapewear garment like this then save your money & just get spanx. If you're serious about Shapewear then you'll love this product! Also it is crotch less so you don't have to spend 15-30 mins getting it off & on just to tinkle. Yay! ... show more

I have tried MANY fajas and this is the best I have found! I had a tummy tuck, Brazilian butt lift, fat grafting to hips, thigh lift AND lipo done and most fajas irritated my thigh incisions. Not this one! I am currently 160 lbs and 5'6" and it was tough to put on but after a week I could fit my lipo foam in it. Shrank back up to tight after I hand washed it and put it in the dryer on low. The hook and eyes but be the strongest made because believe it has been a fight to get on the first time and right after drying, but it does the job well and has helped me smooth out and push the fluid out of my back and abdomen after surgery. ... show more
