Once we were able to figure out how to get it working, (the "user manual" is pure crap) it works very well and does what it's supposed to do... make noise. This little 17" sound bar won't blow your hair back if you crank it up, but it's loud enough for us to "rock out" and it actually improves the sound quality of the music over our TV speakers, which are pretty good, but not great for music quality. We had to use the aux cable/set up. Couldn't make the Optical hook up work even though our TV is equipped for it. It just made a terrible stuttering clamor. Would love to have some kind soul explain what we might have done wrong. Bottom line: for the price, this little sound bar does the job and it's little, but powerful enough. I build a fireplace with built in recess for tv. The TV speakers (low end Hisense) are very tinny. I tried a JBL portable speaker as well as an Amazon Echo wirelessly and the sound results were weird. Speech delay and insufficient volume. They weer also too wide to place on the back ledge behind the tv. I was concered about this unit because there isn't a lot of room on the ledge behind the tv, but for the price, I figured I'd give it a shot. It fits right on the ledge behind the tv, no problem. Suprising amount of bass and excellent ability to understand dialogue, so good mids and highs. Great speaker for the price and EXACTLY what I needed. The speaker is ported and does a nice job with action movies and music bass wise. Very happy, and very, v ery happy considering the price. Only downside might be that at higher volume levels, the bass is very boomy and overpowering. At quiet through loud volume levels, you will enjoy FAR better sound that you likely have now. At very high levels, the bass is a little boomy and over powering. This isn't a $500 or $1000 audiophile soundbar. But it IS a great value which produced great sound in a small, affordable package. I recently put up my TV in my room. The built-in speakers on my low-end Hisense TV were very tinny, so I needed a better audio solution. I tried wirelessly using a JBL portable speaker and an Amazon Echo, but the sound results were strange, with speech delays and insufficient volume. They were also too wide to place on the ledge behind the TV. I was worried about this soundbar because there wasn't much room on the ledge, but given the price, I decided to try it. It fits perfectly on the ledge behind the TV, so there's no problem. The sound quality is impressive, with a surprising amount of bass and clear dialogue, providing good mids and highs. This soundbar is precisely what I needed. It's ported and does a great job with action movies and music, delivering solid bass performance. I'm thrilled with this purchase, especially considering the price. The only downside is that the bass can be pretty boomy and overpowering at higher volume levels. However, the sound quality is far better than the TV's built-in speakers at quiet to loud volume levels. This isn't a $500 or $1000 audiophile soundbar, but it's a fantastic value that produces excellent sound in a small, affordable package. I would rebuy it without hesitation. ... show more

Got this for the TV I got got our little camper for rainy days. The TV was not audible even at full volume when the a/c was running, so I got this little soundbar. Fixed the problem right up and now my kid is entertained with cartoons when it's too awful out to have fun outside. Hey, better than the crap he'd want to watch on YouTube. Re sound quality, weight, and ease of use: I think it sounds great, but I'll confess I'm not one of those people who care a great deal about sound quality. 🤷♀️ The weight is perfectly lightweight, doesn't add a lot of weight to our lil camper and can easily sit on top of the window hardware. Very easy to set up. Reading the instructions wasn't necessary, but was happy they were there if needed. I'm not using the Bluetooth function so can't comment on that. If you're curious, the soundbar and power strip are secured with 3M Command Strips. (For any of you familiar with electrical systems in small campers, yes, we're careful to not overload. 🙃) ... show more

I bought this compact soundbar to replace an older Samsung soundbar and bass in my workout area, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting much given its low price. Boy, was I in for a surprise! It is incredibly easy to set up, and adjust the settings on the TV, and the sound quality is outstanding. My husband was initially skeptical and rolled his eyes when I told him I had bought it and set it up myself. But once I played an Amazon Prime Music channel for him, he was no longer rolling his eyes—in fact, he thinks I’m a genius now! This is a fantastic product at an unbeatable price.
