Features

  • iRestore Laser Hair Growth System is a FDA-cleared hair loss treatment and laser hair growth device for treating alopecia, receding hairline, balding and thinning hair to stimulate hair growth for women and men.
  • iRestore has been clinically studied by doctors and has been proven to promote hair growth for men and women in a recent 2017 research study. In this clinical study, an astonishing 100% of active male and female users saw visible hair growth with an average increase of 43.2% in hair count (Scroll down to the "RELATED VIDEO SHORTS" section below to learn more)
  • Whether you're a man or a woman, you can grow thicker, fuller, and healthier hair fast with iRestore's clinical-strength laser hair restoration technology. You can use it on its own or combine it with other hair loss treatments; physicians believe low level laser therapy can be used to enhance the results of other hair loss treatments (such as biotin supplements, hair growth shampoo, biotin conditioner, foam, minoxidil, Propecia, finasteride, and other hair growth products)
  • Developed in GMP-certified facilities, this home-use laser hair growth cap is durable, lightweight, comfortable, hands-free and easy to use. This is unlike a laser comb and brush that provides far less coverage AND requires constant hand movement, which is tiring, inconvenient, and prevents you from going about your day

  • Easy to use & after 2 months I am seeing plenty of new hair growth.
I like that it has a self timer & shuts off automatically when the treatment is complete. I Love the results so far after 2 months I see hair growing all around my hairline which is where i was having hair loss. I sometimes miss doing the treatments (every other day) i have probably missed about 3 treatments in the 2 months but im still seeing good results. ... show more

  • It really works!!
I have tried many remedies to improve my thinning hair over the years. Here is my story that describes what worked and what didn't work for me. Bottom line about the laser cap: it works! - in combination with other treatments, as I will report. I am a female, mid 70s, never had thick hair, but it started thinning severely after menopause. Several years ago, when my hair loss became really noticeable I decided to go for hair transplant surgery. I knew it would take 12 to 18 months for the hair to grow back in, but I got impatient within a couple months and started using minoxidil (5% foam) once a day in the area on top of my head where thinning was worst. After about a year the results were looking pretty good. For several more years I continued using minoxidil, but eventually it was clear I was once again losing hair. Obviously the hair transplant worked initially but did not give permanent improvement, and the minoxidil was not sufficient to prevent hair loss. I lost faith in minoxidil at this point, and switched to the popularly advertised supplement Viviscal. I used Viviscal faithfully for a full year (stopping minoxidil). I saw that my hair loss got much worse over this time. I was seeing severe bald spots on top of my head and was pretty desperate. My conclusion about Viviscal is that it had absolutely no beneficial result in my experience. Based on my experience so far, I concluded that the surgery worked, but the results were not permanent. My underlying condition caused me to still lose hair. I believe minoxidil probably slowed the rate of hair loss somewhat. I reached that conclusion since after I stopped minoxidil completely and switched to Vivisical, the rate of hair loss became much worse. After that year using Viviscal I was pretty desperate and decided to try the laser cap. This was 6 months ago. I stopped Viviscal, went back to using minoxidil same way as before (5% foam once a day), and started using the laser cap as instructed, 25 minutes every other day. I also started taking a biotin supplement (5 mg per day) at the same time. The way I gauge hair loss is by "combing" my wet hair with my fingers every morning and checking how much hair comes out on my fingers. During the Viviscal days, my daily hair loss was significant. Within a few weeks of starting the laser cap/ minoxidil/ biotin hair loss dropped a lot, and within a few months it dropped to virtually zero. I will say that I found the minoxidil led to pretty significant dandruff and scalp itching within about a month's time. I switched to a popular dandruff shampoo and increased my hair-washing frequency to 4-5 times a week. The dandruff & itching came under control pretty quickly and has not been a problem since then. After about 3 months of using the laser cap I started to feel a little fuzziness under my fingertips when I rubbed the top of my head and thought it might be a sign of new hair growth. I started to see gray hairs emerging and had to color my hair a little more quickly than I normally would. But that was a good thing! After 6 months, I am definitely seeing good hair growth on top of my head. Other people, including my doctor, have also commented that my hair is looking better. However – and this is interesting – I realized my hair is quite thin in the upper back of my head, where I was not using minoxidil (even though the laser cap does hit that region). I also notice some other thin hair areas in spots where I was not applying minoxidil. This leads me to believe it is the combination of the laser cap and minoxidil that gives the good result. I am now using minoxidil over a larger area. I hope to see improvements in these other thinning areas over the next several months and will update this review. I feel like there is a farming analogy here – when you are farming you have to first prepare the soil by tilling or aerating or something like that. You also need fertilizer. I see the laser cap as "preparing the soil" and the minoxidil as the "fertilizer". Not sure about the biotin contribution but I continue to use it. I plan to keep using the laser cap indefinitely but probably after I feel I have reached my personal best for hair growth I will cut back on minoxidil. If hair loss starts to become apparent I think I will notice it right away and can increase the minoxidil. One complaint I have about the laser cap is that it does not stay in place during use unless I keep my face pointed slightly downward (which is awkward). If I face forward, the cap tends to slip to the back and fall off unless I hold it in place. There should be a better way of keeping the cap from slipping backward when the user is facing forward. I also have a concern about the power cord. No matter how careful I am with it, the cord forms "kinks" which I have to carefully untwist every time. So far this has not caused a problem but I think that eventually this could be a failure mechanism. I would suggest either a different type of wire that does not kink so easily, or else change the design so the wire can be easily replaced if it becomes necessary. I am very pleased with my hair growth using the laser cap. ... show more

  • Horrific Shedding - I am devasted
I started using this product on 9.9.20 as directed and ended use 11.11.20 due to the amount of hair loss ("shedding") experienced. I purchased this product after being sold by the rhetoric that this device would reverse hair loss. I never even heard of or thought to ask whether this product would cause "shedding" until it started to happen. A lot. In wrestling with the decision to continue or stop usage I realized that this thing causes you to feel as if you might have been so close to break through if you would just keep going while at the same time your hair is falling out with no relief in sight. My hair feels thin, weak and sensitive. I can actually see through my hair to my scalp where I didn't before and the crown of my head is exposed because of the unexpected hair loss since using this device (see pics). When I realized how much hair I loss in the short amount of time using it and the very thought of having to continue usage for another 4 months in hopes of seeing results my heart filled with dread and my mind with fear. Thoughts of me with a few strands of hair left by the 6 month mark with little baby hairs in bald spots I didn't have before alarmed me. I couldn't sleep and started to cry until I made the decision the next day to discontinue usage. Folks, if I would have known about the excess shedding there is absolutely no way I would have purchased this. My hope is there is no permanent damage to my hair follicles due to the laser lights. I say this because after researching the hair "shedding" I noticed that "Laser Therapy" is a permanent solution for hair removal. I can't imagine it's the same thing but it sure seems like it. For weeks with each comb long strands of hair would fall in my sink. Now as a woman at 42 years of age I was already experiencing 'light shedding' thus the reason why I purchased it. What I saw coming out of my hair was HAIR, the kind you don't want to lose, the good, shiny strands. It's seriously seems as if I had a radiation treatment. It came to a point that when I washed my hair I avoided combing it at times to avoid more hair loss. I will be returning this product asap. Like many I had high hopes and am terribly disappointed. I can't imagine losing hair I once had just to see new baby hair grow in it's place. Further more the very thought of continuing these sessions and seeing more hair loss is frightening. I hope this company is not using a product they are unsure about on the public as guinea pigs. I hope to give an update soon as to the after results of not using this. In getting a full refund I would like to also get a full refund on the hair that was loss due to the use of this product. Terribly disappointed. P.S. I am asking Irestore not to respond to this review. Your company has become a burden to many instead of the hope you advertised yourself to be. --- Update 11.15.20 --- I receive an email from the company after sending them a request for refund due to the reasons of shared and they replied: please note that your 6-month guarantee will expire on ‎March‎ ‎5‎, ‎2021. In case you still didn't see any results, please contact us a week before that date and we'll be happy to assist you with your return. I just told them I will not be using this device any further. ... show more
