The media could not be loaded. DEFINITELY NEED A 14" MATTRESS OR TALLER, or count on also adding a mattress foundation or you'll lose your pillows inti the gap! Assembly instructions are drawings only, I recommend laying all the parts out in alphabetical order, be aware that the sticker for part E is INSIDE the hinged part where you can't see it without opening it up. Other than that, assembly is fairly straightforward. Assembling the drawer parts is hard on the thumbs pushing the locking part into the connectors. ... show more

While it serves it's purpose, it is on the rickety side, and not well designed. The supports legs are thin, and upon trying to slide it into place before even having a mattress on it one of the legs folded over and snapped off! I had to glue in back together with JB Weld, and a prayer. Shelves look deep, but they are pretty small, and cant hold much more than a cellphone etc... Backing to the shelves is cloth and not wood. Assembly took some time, but I wouldn't call it hard. Definitely on the wobbly side, so I can imagine over time this thing will start squeaking.
