    • Fast Bike but poor quality front forks causes severe wheel bounce
This bike had potential. However the poor quality of the front fork causes the front wheel to wobble and bounce upon acceleration. The front wheel shaking is magnified when using the front hub motor. The shaking makes the ride unenjoyable and feels dangerous and not safe. Amyet customer service offers no practical solutions. They never offered to replace the front fork for one that can function correctly. Instead they bombared me with tedious tasks and requests of video and such that I simply do not have time for. I bought 3 ebikes from Amazon at the same time. Happyrun G50 Pro, Ridstar Q20 Pro and the Amyet S6. The Amyet S6 was the only bike I had issues with. The return request was approved however people please keep in mind my bike was assembled and the box was pitched. Repackaging is more hassle than its worth. I will just sell the bike or replace the forks myself. But why I have to do that on a brand new bike is ridiculous. Something to think about. No more Amyet anything for me! ... show more

    • Surpassed my expectations
I use it on the trails in the woods. Plenty of power for the hill climbing. 33 MPH on the road. Heavy duty build. Great suspension. The bike has all the options of comparable bikes at a fraction of the price. I have put 30 miles on the bike mostly on trails and climbing hills. Still at 60% battery life. Haven’t had to recharge it yet. I found the operating instructions a little vague but made it through the setup. Would definitely recommend this bike for anyone ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The suspension is not proper, all else on this bike seems great on first impression and ride. The bike I purchased was either falsely advertised or the one I received was not fully outfitted as promised. The rear and front suspension are not hydraulic nor pneumatic, they are merely glorified sheet metal assemblies with springs only; upon inspection one can see these tubes are not sealed pressure vessels. After a short test ride it's evident this vehicle needs dampening and I understood the purchase price included this level of suspension. There is no valving to adjust/control rebound and compression; no perceivable dampening whatsoever. Both front and rear slam or jar upon extension, evidently neither have internal cushions for end limits. The 12 mile test ride was harsh enough that my lower back hurts; and I typically successfully ride a standard hardtail bicycle at slower average speeds of course. The Ke Zhen 880b rear shock is very crude. The homemade front fork “piston” is solidly welded to the bottom triple clamp (which is a boxed pressed sheet metal assembly), this not serviceable or adjustable. I borescoped both front upright tubes and there is no apparent valving inside, just socket cap screws deep into the tubes, almost halfway below the dust seal; enough room for a coil spring yet barely enough for additional dampeners at this travel length. I am not willing to spend between $150 to $200 plus the time/expertise to replace the front fork (and have yet to price the rear) after spending $1,200 for the product plus $300 for shipping. Additional suggestion: the right hand side of the front fork should have a wiring clamp to manage the motor harness similar, though larger, to the one currently on the left side harnessing the brake line. The motor wiring should not be affixed as shipped, should be slightly longer and follow a similar path to the brake line to reduce the existing excessive flexing of the coupler which will lead to premature failure.     • Not stable and not reliable
The Front fork is a liability it shakes at high speed. The throttle response is very delayed and the acceleration reaches 20 mph in 6 seconds which is really slow.

This is my first E-Bike, and I am very pleased. I purchased this for trail riding and for emergency (prepper) transportation when there are other limitations. The bike handles well, has more power than I need, seems to go forever on a full charge. I have only charged the batteries once and have been out many times putting it through the trials. Still have over half a charge to go. This E-Bike is amazing. Only complaint is the manual could be better. ... show more

    • Motor pulsating issues
The motors stutter and pulsate when riding on all their S6 e-bikes. Severe customer service issues. This bike should be recalled and no longer sold until it fixed.

I'm having trouble getting the modes to change. I did get in touch with Amyet representative in California (Coco) who said a video would be sent which it did ,but was in Chinese . I've called them again and texted several times. Hopefully they'll get back to me or this bike's going to be sent back. After changing the modes a couple dozen times the bike does not work at all now. ... show more
