My wife loves this water bottle. It keeps water cool even when left in a hot car. It will keep water cool almost a day in cooler locations, more than long enough. We did get the accessory handle as well that makes carrying more convenient. The color is attractive as well. The metal design is durable and has been dropped several times already with no issue at all. I love this water bottle. It's so hard to find things in real purples, they are either too red or too washed out. And producers often want to hit the pink and purple market without making both, so you get a really pink purple. No! This is a rich, darker purple. Not grape or plum or fuchsia. Middle of the red and blue spectrum purple. Then when light hits it, you get blue and green as well. Where light hits it directly, you also see tiny sparkles. There are millions of them, so small it's subtle, but there. Aside from how awesome it looks, it's solid and keeps water nice and cold. I have only had it in spring so far, and mostly used it indoors. So I can't speak to someone who wants to haul it around backpacking in August, but the opening is large enough to get some ice in there and the lid screws on tight with insulation. Beautiful finish on the bottle. Seems to fit anywhere that a disposable bottle would. Keeps cold really well. That beautiful finish is easily damaged and is a little slippery. Recommend adding a S’well bumper (a boot that protects the bottom if dropped) and a finger hook (S’well handle), both available on Amazon. The sport cap add on is a little hard to close fully for small-people’s hands, and leaks if not fully closed. The included cap works perfectly. ... show more

    • Pretty finish, not durable though

I have a love/hate relationship with S’well bottles. I love that they are so effective at keeping drinks cold, are absolutely leakproof and they’re truly pretty, but the finishes are not that durable. I have three metallic s’well bottles and the only one that doesn’t have chips or scratches is the rose gold, which is more of a sleek metallic finish whereas this one and my champagne gold are both a type of fine glitter or slightly rougher texture. And they both have chips in the finish, although I’ve only had this one about a month. Whatever you do, don’t drop a S’well bottle, either. My gold one that I’ve had about 3 years now got dropped from the car door and fell onto some gravel, and it’s got tons of chips in the finish as well as dents on the bottom to where it doesn’t sit level anymore. Which is why I ordered this as a replacement. They’re effective, but expensive and somewhat delicate, but still a good “everyday luxury” to help me get my water intake. Ridiculous, I know. First-world problems indeed, but bottom line: cute bottle, delicate finish. Definitely a better buy on amazon than in-store. ... show more

I bought this for a trip I was going to take. It’s a great size to fit into my touristy daypack and kept my water cold for over 24 hrs. I did buy the straw lid so it would be easier to drink from. It’s quite sturdy as it sometimes slipped out of my bag at Disney, so it withstood some serious drops onto concrete with no damage. It is a little hard to get home type ice cubes in it. Hello there … I bought this nifty little thermos to put my coffee in. I keep it by my desk and during the day I open it and pour coffee into my favorite mug when I feel like it, just the amount I want to drink. It’s awesome because the coffee stays nice and hOT for HOURS, and the coffee stays as fresh tasting as if I just brewed it - never stale ! I really love this thermos ! One thing to remember is that this has a true thermos pour lid with a wide opening- it’s not meant for drinking straight from the thermos in the car or it would spill on you .
