I expected a wrestling match to install this tire. After figuring out the best method by trial & error on the first tire, the 2nd was a walk in the park. So maybe these tips will help reduce your own efforts. The tires arrived in an AMZ box, fully formed with no distortion at all - a giant plus for getting them to seal after installation. Made in Indonesia. Soapy water is a must. The first side slips over the rim fairly easy by just using your hands and a little muscle. Now the challenge. • Clamp a vise grip on the very edge of the flared rim of the wheel where it won't scratch the internal sealing face of the wheel. • Soap tire & rim and start pushing the tire over the rim by hand until you can't go any further. • TIP: Make sure the underside of the tire is "floating" loose in the CENTER of the wheel which allows the top side of the tire to stretch easier over the rim. • Insert a heavy duty LONG screwdriver between the rim and tire. Position the screwdriver blade against the middle of the inside wheel where you won't scratch the bead sealing surface that is near the rim. • Use your hand to press down on the tire while advancing the screwdriver to fold the tire over the rim an inch or two at a time before repositioning the screwdriver. • If you can't clamp the wheel in a vise to prevent turning during this effort, you will need a helper to hold the tire and wheel from turning while you continue with the screwdriver. Keep it soapy. For these undistorted tires, the beads sealed with just a little jiggle while putting air to it. No ratchet straps needed. Soap down the tire rim area on both sides and the air nozzle to check for leaks. Bounce the tire on a cement floor while rotating slightly after each bounce to insure the tire bead is set all the way in position. ... show more

These are great tires for the money! The tires that came on my utility wagon were so thin and dry rotted you could see light through them. I replaced one that would not hold air with a Kenda tire but when the rest needed replaced I found these and I'm glad I did! These are better quality than the Kenda tire I bought previously and they are wider than the tires that came on the wagon. These are the tires I wish would have came with the wagon. Tires showed up in a box in perfect form. I've received tires before that were banded together and squished out of form which makes them difficult to install and set bead. These were perfect.

Worked fine for my trailer for my lawn mower. The tires had dry rotted over time. As of ease of install, your replacing a tire. I suggest you purchase the small tire replacement tool. It's worth the money. Especially if you intend to do several of them.
