  • Works good looks good
Style: 1 Gallon
Product looks good and my leak stopped after two coatings. Lot of rain fall and no leaks at all. Going to put one more coating on today. Looks like it is quite sturdy and that uv resistance I hoping works well. Looks like it it will reflect the sun good. Only time will tell. A+ from me

  • Easy to use
Style: 1 Gallon
Super easy to apply this to the roof of our camper. We didn’t have any leaks but used this as a preventative. Rolled on very well and set great! Easily went into the smallest of cracks from wear and tear. The bucket was very easy to close back and I assume would protect the sealant from ruining.

  • Effective, Affordable RV Roof Sealant—Plus Versatile for Other Projects!
Style: 1 Gallon
We recently discovered a leak in our camper’s bedroom ceiling near the door, caused by a crack in the roof. We decided to give this product a try, and overall, the functionality was great. Application: Applying the product was simple and effective. I found that painting it in multiple directions provided consistent, even coverage. The product comes with a paintbrush, but I’d recommend using a roller if you’re covering a larger area—it’s much more efficient for anything beyond small repairs. The included polyester cloth was very helpful in patching the small crack we had. Affordability: I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable this product is. A 1-gallon container costs $69.99 USD, while 4 gallons are available for $219.99. This bulk pricing caught my attention since I have a 35-foot-long travel trailer and needed a significant amount of product. The savings on the 4-gallon option are especially appealing for those with larger campers. Coverage Confusion: One area where this product could improve is in the clarity of the coverage information. There are multiple conflicting claims in the products detail about how much area 1 gallon will cover. One source states that 1 gallon is enough for RVs up to 30 feet, while another says 1 gallon will cover 50 square feet. The product label itself claims that 1 gallon will cover 60-65 square feet with one coat. Using the coverage estimate from the label (60-65 square feet per gallon), my camper—which is about 280 square feet—requires over 4.5 gallons for just one coat. Since 2-3 coats are recommended for full protection, I am needing to purchase a total of 5 MORE gallons. It’s important to be aware of these factors when estimating how much product you’ll need. {Square footage} = {Length} x {Width} Missing Instructions: One downside is the lack of step-by-step instructions included in the packaging. You can find guidance under the product listing, but I’d recommend doing some research beforehand. For instance, you’ll need to know whether your roof requires priming or if any rust spots need to be treated with a product like Rust-Oleum. Also, be sure to apply the sealant in favorable weather conditions to ensure it adheres and cures properly. Final Thoughts: Despite the confusion around coverage and the lack of included instructions, I would still highly recommend this product. The price point, especially for bulk purchases, makes it a great value. In a market with many options and varying prices, this sealant stands out as a cost-effective and decent-quality solution for RV roof repairs. I’ll definitely be purchasing this again in the future, not just for my RV, but for other projects as well—I was surprised to learn that this acrylic sealant has uses beyond RV roofs! ... show more

  • worked great. slight annoyance
Style: 1 Gallon
I was able to use this to re-seal a roof and had no issues! I am kind of irritated by the fact the sealant bag isn't resealable, I am sure it would last longer in storage that way.

  • Works well to repair many small hairline cuts in roofing
Style: 1 Gallon
I inspected my RV's roof after the two hurricanes we had here in Florida, and found a section where roofing shingles had repeatedly hit the area and left many small cuts, some through the membrane. After cleaning well with a water based cleaner, I waited a couple days (no rain predicted) and wiped the area again with Acetone, and masked the roof sides to keep from getting in on the sides of the RV. It rolled on easily; I started with a thin coat in the morning, and by late afternoon was able to apply a second thicker coat. By sunset the coating had skinned, but was still soft underneath. After two more days in the hot sun, it seemed to be dry, and I couldn't remove it with my fingernail (I tried on a drip spot). I am hoping this holds up well, as the rest of the roof is in excellent condition. ... show more

  • All in a bucket
Style: 1 Gallon
I was surprised when I got this and it was all in a bucket. Inside the bucket is a plastic sealed bag of paint, a single-use paintbrush, and a roll of fabric backing tape use it kind of like drywall tape to add extra support to thicker edges or to cover gaps). The consistency of the paint is not unlike Greek yogurt or putty for ceiling texture. It also will flow to some extent (in small globs it'll be stable but if you get larger ones they'll try to even out). Take out the supplies, pour the paint into the bucket, and get to work. I'd probably recommend a roller if you're trying to evenly cover something. I used it for a leaky carport and it seems to have worked great. I painted over the joints, put the tape on and patted it on, then put another layer of paint over it (touching up the next day where I missed spots or such). So far it's working great and I'll update if there are any issues (I'm particularly curious how it lasts over the winter and in the 100-degree summers with direct sun). By the next day this dries much like warm road tar - it has a skin that is stable and touchable, but you can tell it's flexible and not entirely hard. A couple days later (or for lighter coats) and it has a mildly springy feel. Hopefully that'll help it adapt to hot/cold as promised. Note that I used a gallon of this for three strips about 3-4in wide and about 20ft long. With a fairly generous coating and some touch-ups that used the entirely thing. I also don't know how well it'll last in the bucket - I'd expect it would cure fast since it's not a super tight seal, so I'd probably recommend aiming to use this in one go or perhaps within a couple days. I'm very happy with this so far as compared to gutter tape or other waterproofing solutions - it's definitely messier but I have more control on where it goes and feel like I got a much better seal. And it's much cheaper relative to the coverage. Now the only question is longevity - and I'll update if it fails within the next year or so. ... show more
