Product was direct replacement. Electrical pig-tail was slightly shorter but still worked fine. Another review cautioned about securing the arm so it could not deploy when motor is removed from gears. I suggest tying off opposing arm so you can move motor side arm enough to remove cover then motor. Alternatively deploy awning then doing repair without tying arm works (my motor was dead in retracted position). Also, use dabs of vaseline to hold plastic gear cover and O-ring in place when mounting motor. O-ring is between cover and motor. ... show more

I have a 2021 Sunseeker 2850 with a soler awning.. it was a perfect fit. I'm sure if it was an oem motor costing $150 plus it would still have a tag on it saying made in China.

The new motor with gear box for my camper awning works as expected. I tested it at home when installed and now at the campground it works perfectly. There are no flashing lights or bells, it completes the task of running the awning out and in. Exactly what is expected.
