This sensor was extremely easy to replace. In fact, the screw holes were an exact match to the original OEM ones. And the wire connection was very convenient. It was as simple as cut the old wires, strip, insert into opening on the adaptor, and close the little clamp. This detector was easy to install except for the location of the passenger seat. It fit the preexisting hole from the old detector, which was from a different company. I appreciated the three different bases to choose from for my application. The wiring connector is excellent and straightforward to use. I had this new detector installed in minutes. So far it’s a 5. The install package makes it easy to replace your old sensor. Just follow the instructions and you’ll have no problems installing this sensor. The startup and test sequence is exactly as described in the paperwork. I like the display and the intensity of the light. Easy to read display and alarm volume should keep you safe. So far so good.
