I have a very large west facing kitchen window and at dinner time the extremely bright light from that side has been blinding.I literally could not stay at the table sometimes.The cheapest shade I could find was about $129 and I didn't even particularly like it. When I saw this one I knew it was large enough for my needs and extremely economical too. It works perfectly and looks nicer than I expected.It is a great value. I tested the blinds. + They are adequate to the task, being a simple function window blind. + They are not see-through, but not totally darkening. + Hanging them is very easy. + They came packed very well. - I had trouble figuring out how to make them work, at first. The point of how to make the blind work, as shown in the directions is not as clear as I needed. They do the trick, but I am neutral in recommending them unless you like a slight bit of a puzzle to operate them, which isn't hard once you know the trick. ... show more

I absolutely will be buying more of these to match throughout my camper! These are so, so, soooo much better than the old original metal clanky window blinds! They are like a perfect cross between traditional roller shades in the sense that they are all one solid piece and regular blinds in the way they function and fold into itself as you raise them. They have much more privacy than traditional blinds as well because they are a solid crinkled blind, instead of individual slats. I ordered 38' wide and they fit perfectly for either my bedroom, dining area or kitchen windows. I chose to install in the bedroom, obviously, because that's where I need the most privacy. I think the price is a bit on the high side, but most camper accessories are, even though home items would also do the job at a fraction of the costs. Installation was no harder than regular blinds would have been. Thankfully, I don't have the valance covers in my camper to fight with while installing. ... show more

I got this to replace a broken blind in my camper and was excited it came in the correct width, but I didn’t check the length and it wasn’t long enough. That was my bad, but that doesn’t take away from the quality of the blind! They are very comparable to the blinds that come in rvs from the manufacturer! ... show more

I have an odd ball window which is very long but short. I needed a blind for it as it is in the bathroom. This arrived quickly. Directions are specific and it went up very easy. The question on how to raise and lower is stated in the directions it comes with. There are 2 small pieces that attach to the window below the lower frame, the string from the top goes around that. Now all you have to do to raise and lower the blind is use your hand to pull it down or push it up. I love that you don't have to use a string to push and pull and the strings that are attached to the hardware are not very noticeable. ... show more

Installed these as a shade for my basement window. First, the screws provided have too big of a head and get caught on the top. I swapped them out with some flat screws and it worked great. Second, the cover where the string goes through keeps falling out, needed to add some model glue here to keep it in. It was really frustrating. Otherwise these aren't bad. I do like how they block light but not all of it. it lets in a nice glow and gives a good feel to the room. I wouldn't buy these again due to the hardware and quality. It doesn't seem to be worth the cost if you have to fix issues when they come in. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I got this window shade for a camoer bedroom window. The color is soft grey and looks nice. The shade slides up and down very well. The brackets that hold it up was a little tricky to figure out which way it went into the shade head. It seems as the diagram of the shade head on the instructions is drawn backwards as to how it should be to snap into the brackets. The instructions couls be a little more clear as to how the brackets snap onto the shade head. Besides that confusion, the only real problem I have with these, are the end caps are not tight and kept falling off while trying to install. ... show more

Great RV blind (or household blind if it fits). Just like the ones that come new with some RVs. Easy installation with clear instructions, and easy operation (no pull strings, just lift up or pull down to the desired height). Provides privacy and some shade but not really "room darkening" and definitely not blackout (which meets expectations and matches the other pleated blinds I already have) ... show more
