The media could not be loaded. We have a room where we need the lights in specific locations but the ceiling/floor trusses are in the way. Rather than dropping the ceiling enough to fit a larger light, we decided to check out these that will fit in the thickness of the sheet rock. While I'd rather have a recessed light housing, sometimes you just have to make compromises! However, as far as features and functionality of a flat light, I don't see any real compromises with these units. The variable color temperature setting was important, although I'd say the colors all run pretty warm except for the full white. I'm not sure that the bar visible in the pictures is not just a camera artifact, but the edge lit LEDs are visible around the ring, but not overly obtrusive. I could detect a bit of flickering as I dimmed the light, but it seemed to stabilize once set, so I think it's a combination of the light and the controller. I attempted to capture a video of dimming the unit, but the camera adjusted for the light level change, so you can't really tell that it's being dimmed! ... show more
