After my first time playing Rummikub- here is my review: is a fun game that can be play with friends or family. The skills involved with Rummikub seem to masterfully blend rummy and mahjong into an easy-to-learn, game. Rummikub is played with numbered tiles instead of cards and it seems to be best for between two and four players. The game Rummikub made me think of strategic moves, quick math, and constantly changes. The game revolves around forming runs or groups of tiles, similar to rummy. However, its defining feature is the freedom to rearrange tiles already on the table to create new combinations. It did take me more than a few times not to discard, and to break tiles apart. Rummikub’s design also mirrors some of mahjong, particularly in how players draw and discard tiles while trying to clear their racks. The game’s simple rules and vibrant tiles make it a fantastic choice for family gatherings or casual get-togethers. Easy to learn, easy to play, a game doesn't take forever. Get the six-player version, because it's only a few bucks more, and it's good to be able to play with more than four people.

    • Super-Sized Rummikub Brings Mega Fun!
So, I finally picked up the Six Player Edition, and oh man, it's a game changer for our family game nights! This version comes with three full sets of tiles and four jokers, which is a step up from the usual. We used to try squeezing an extra player into the standard game, and it was always a tight fit. Now, playing with our big family is a whole lot easier, and we could even stretch it to eight people without any trouble. It's like this set was made for us! Have older rummicube cube games and this one is so much better. First, you can play with six people instead of just four. Second, the holder for your tiles is one piece, no putting together, and easier to use Third, the tiles themselves are easier to distinguish as the colors are easy to recognize. Makes a fun game even more fun and so easy to play! Just love it! ... show more
