We needed a roomy, secure play area for our pet while we were traveling and she took to it right away, goes in voluntarily! She likes it so much that after we got home we set it up in the living room and she likes to sleep in it at night. Though she is a small chihuahua we chose the medium size and it provided plenty of space to put her favorite blanket, pillow, toys as well as her water and food bowls and there was still plenty of space for her. I was looking around and i saw this product and it has the color that i love. I got this for our new puppy to keep him safe while I am showering, cooking, etc. I got this in particular due to it being lightweight and easily moved. I can move it between rooms with no problem unlike my metal cage and play yard. This has been great. He will eventually get big enough to tip it and he has already tried clawing at the mesh, so I worry he may eventually try to escape that way. But for now, while he is a teeny 2 pounds, this is great and super helpful. ... show more

Because I foster orphaned kittens and momma cats with babies, I bought this to keep them safe and separate from my menagerie of other animals. It allows every animal in the room to see each other and become acclimated to other cats and dogs while feeling safe and secure. It is really fantastic for this --- AND as the kittens get older and more rambunctious, this substitutes as a playground they can jump on top of, dash in and out of the unzipped door and learn how to climb with ease! It also holds a small litter box for the momma and babies (so they can be trained in using it)! I also think this would be great for a small dog or puppy to use! I LOVE IT! ... show more

Although mine had a minor defect, one of the slots was sewn shut and I couldn't put one of the rods in. It does seem to be very well made other than that. The companies customer service was excellent. They are totally taking care of it and are sending a new one. My dogs, 3 Shih Tzu's, all went in it right away without any coaxing and didn't come out for quite awhile. There is even room for their bed and for them to move around with it in there. I needed a way to keep the puppy out of mischief while I was busy during day. We use it inside and outside to let him have more freedom than in his crate. He loves it! He has plenty of room and has routine for eating we also bought a waterproof washable liner for bottom. We feed him in pin and wait 15 min then take him out to potty. He loves it so much he takes himself into it during day when door open and takes naps. He has tried to chew a little but he’s a puppy and they love to chew. We just say no and he quit and it hasn’t torn yet and we have had about month or so. ... show more

I've had dog playpens in the past this one surpassed them all! Definitely built to last & was super easy to assemble! It works great for my 2 dogs (both under 12lbs). It had plenty of space for them both & room to spare, they love having their own space. My only issue is it wasn't easy to fold back up.. it was a bit of a struggle to get it back in its carry bag.. other then that would definitely recommend. ... show more

This pet playpen works for all pets not just dogs or cats. It's easy to setup and takes no time to fully set-up. It's easy to fold and store when done. I used it first for my baby ducks and chicks. It allowed them to be out on a hot day but not to run off. It worked wonders. When I was done I rinsed it out and let it dry. Then I used it for our baby bunnies so they could be outside and enjoy the view. It works wonders for small animals because it provides tons of space. And last I used it for my saint Bernard puppy and it worked well until she got bigger. Now she just knocks it over if I put her in it. But it still works wonders for my baby animals ... show more

Our ferret prefers play pens over wire cages. We have encountered with other brands of play pens that our cat can push the wall over and either let the ferret out, or climb in and cause a rukas (they are friends so it's not a bad thing). This play pen is PERFECT because of the reinforced walls (they are like tent rods that slide into pockets and velcro shut). This also keeps the ferret from catapulting herself out when she climbs the wall and it can't totally support her weight. This playpen has a stronger zipper that overlaps itself a few inches which is PERFECT because little ferret learned how to work zippers so now we don't have to safety pin the lid shut, she is secure inside when it is fully closed. The lid/lip where the top attaches is also wide enough that little ferret really really has to work to escape so that buys us some time incase she tries to adventure without supervision. The nice tall windows allow her to look out and see what's happening around her and the humans to look inside very easily. However, is there is no grommet & strap to attach a Water bottle. But thats no big deal, as this was clearly made for a dog. We will be adding one as it isn't difficult to do. This product is AWESOME and we are very happy to have it in our ferret supplies.
