I took this on vacation to go snorkeling and didn't expect much, but it was actually incredibly helpful. It was nice to be able to float effortlessly while still getting to see the marine life underneath me. It was also literally a life saver. First one arrived. Seemed to fit well and the valve operated nicely for snorkeling, but I returned it because the pictured leg straps were missing EVEN THOUGH THE VEST HAD THE BUCKLE ATTACHMENTS for the missing leg straps. It does seem the vest may ride up, so the straps would be useful. Returned the first one through Amazon for a replacement. Once again, the second vest was missing leg straps. I'll have to decide whether to keep it anyway, or return it and find a different jacket vest. ... show more

Having this vest almost made scuba diving too easy. We just put it on and blew it up (very easily). Then we literally just floated on the water without any effort. It didn’t push your body sideway when the wave came (as long as you put in all the straps correctly). We could easily move and swim. If you had the air in, you would not able to dive down at all. So you would need to deflate the air first (only need to push down the ring on the tube). to dive down. But we were beginners. So the worries free scuba was perfect for us. It did take a bit of time to figure out how to install all the straps the first time. (Well we didn’t read the instructions) Once we did it the first time, we just left one side of the straps hanging and then the rest was easy. We put the vest on by our parked car and then walked out to the beach. When we were done, we didn’t even deflate the vest and just threw them in the trunk. ... show more
