It should take you about 6 Depeche Mode songs to put this together including filling with air. Comes with a bell and water bottle. Make sure you tighten the bolt where training wheels would be attached. No tools required except scissors to cut straps.

So happy with this bike. I know my grandson will love it! Very well made. Paint is very nice . Seat and the pedal are good and sturdy . Easy to assemble. The bike seems fine, and rides well. My problem is that my kids are learning to ride their bikes, and sometimes they fall down. When they have fallen, the steering wheel has become misaligned, and the pedal has just Randy fallen off when riding it. These have been tightened by my husband with tools. They only had them since October, and I am seriously considering getting them a better quality bike. ... show more

I have a 4 yr old soon to be 5. He is 42 inches tall and 40 pounds. I love the bike but I wish it came with training wheels on this model but overall I love this bike. I will just get the training wheels separately.

    • Easy to assemble IF the seat fits
It's a good bike and great for my 6yr old boy. It only needed a few steps to assemble, but two issues I didn't like: 1) I ordered the orange color and received white. By the time I saw it, my husband had already assembled and I didn't want to bother with returning for the correct color. 2) One step of assembly is putting the seat into the base of the bike. You can then raise or lower the seat based on child's height. When inserting the seat, there was a small metal bump inside the frame that stopped the seat from going in all the way. My husband used a mallet to hammer the seat down until it made it through (and then we could adjust the height). Seems like a manufacturing error. ... show more

This bike has been wonderful for my 4-year-old. He loves the orange color, it's well built and sturdy. The training wheels are easy to put on and adjust. It was a struggle for him to transition to handlebar brakes, but he got the hang of it. It's a good size for the phase he's in and I don't think he'll grow out of it any time soon. It's also well built enough that I know it will be perfect for when my youngest one gets big enough to ride as well. ... show more
