This is exactly what I was looking for. The Airpods Max have a draining problem. If you use them straight, they definitely deliver on the battery life claims. But even putting them in the case, they still drain battery. Plugging them in is just a little inconvenient. I wanted a wireless charing stand that I can just drop them in once I'm done. And these deliver. I have had no issues whatsoever. You insert the adapter in the lightning port and the magnets align it quickly and easily to the dock. Item appeared returned, but did not appear damaged. Unfortunately the power doesn't run through the base. I tried the cable that came with it and two more. I tried on multiple known good outlets. I tried both of the included mag safe adapters: nothing. So like a few other folks, I got a defective unit, one that appears to have been shipped to someone else, returned, and then recycled to me.
