The media could not be loaded. Much beyond a first time starters set. This equipment is a little more robust and may be missing much of what a beginning artist would usually start with. This is geared towards more experienced artists. Skipping past the transfer paper, caps, inks, and consumables let's focus on the rotary tattoo pen and its design. This set includes a wireless battery which plugs directly into the back portion of the gun eliminating the need for a lead wire, controller, and pedal. The gun fits the hand as expected and is easy for an experienced user to operate. With the battery add while in operation the tattoo gun runs full time lacking pedal control. The battery pack does increase the overall weight of the gun and can be felt when compared without. This gun has tight and smooth depth adjustment while turning but lacks click confirmation and user felt feedback. This kit is well put together and seems to be as confident as the users its intended for.

I've had this kit for several months now, and have used it a few times. Mostly on the practice skins I have, but I tried to tattoo my wrist with it once. As for the machine, it comes with a portable battery for easy use, compared to my old one that needed a plug in, this is nice. The pen itself is a little bulky, but I'd rather deal with bulkiness than it being small and hard to control. Compared to my old kits, this one is definitely an upgrade and I'm happy with it.

This has been a great practice pen, I've been using it on fake skin and has worked great. I haven't had any issues, is very light weight and easy to use.

Ok, so I understand most people purchasing this probably know what they are doing and this isn't a big deal. However, my 22 year old son wanted to finish some tattoos and thought this could do the trick. My plan was to try out on the practice paper before letting him use the product. Oddly, there are ample instructions for the battery charger. I've taken all boxes apart and opened everything. I also have concerns about the pigment. As someone with chemical sensitivities it's important to read ingredients. The only way you will read these is with a magnifying glass and full of spelling errors. I understand these things are made overseas, but honestly I question products with bad grammar and spelling errors. At least they made an effort to inform us, but too much is lacking for me to feel comfortable using the product. I'd really wanted to try out the product on the practice paper and am sure I can find a youtube video to get me that far, but honestly, this product should at least offer that. Considering what could go wrong without instructions and the liability, I would hope they add this in the future. My son has several tattoos and seems to think it will do just fine. If it goes terribly wrong or fantastically well, then I might be able to update.. I do like the case and everything you seem to need is included, but without trying it I can't tell you about the quality of the product. So, defaulting to 3 stars (for now)
