The description says that it is a warm white. I do not find it like that at all. It is very bright & says that it is not dimmable. I don't know if that means that I cannot have my electrician put a dimmer on the wall or if it just means that the light itself does not come with a dimmer. During the day, this light looks fine on the side of my house. Unoffensive, black aluminum. Though it should be noted that the back side (which attaches to the house) is actually made of cheap-feeling plastic. The frosted plastic insert that the light shines through is pretty cheap looking in the daylight, and there's a gap at the bottom meaning it doesn't have full coverage of the opening.
