These are high quality bowls, the sides seem to be thick and well made. The only downside perhaps is the inside of the bowl is not smooth where the bottom and the side walls meet. Great sturdy mixing bowls. Nice looking too. Not sure about the reviews that suggested these were made in China. Packaging was only in German and English, so assume they were made in Germany where the brand originates.

Rosle is my favorite kitchen tool manufacture. Great designs and well built except for the Chinese stuff. I'm not sure why they are making things in china now.

I absolutely love it it's deep enough for mixing pudding , cake or cookie mixtures when using the electric mixer without some of the it getting thrown all over me.counter, wall and floor. I bought it for my box pudding because that was the last straw when I spend a good part of the time cleaning up the kitchen because of the tornado of a mess that my low and shallow mixing bowel was so when I saw the depth, knew that it would be a good mixing bowel for me and now that's the only bowel I use when baking or esp mixing pudding. ... show more
