  • It's a very good value, but cables not compatible with older Rosewill models
I bought two because they were on sale, but had to return them. My issue was that the connectors on PSU side are *mechanically* compatible (like the pattern of which pins are square vs tapered) but NOT *electrically* compatible to older Rosewill PSUs. I do custom cable sleeving, and felt that having a mix of 4 old Rosewill PSUs (3 Quark and 1 Tokamak) with these 2 new ones would lead to future confusion. One of the reasons I bought them, other than it being an excellent deal, was because after zooming-in, I noticed that the connectors physically match. But because they don't electrically match, I can't share cables between them which defeats the purpose and it's also dangerous to confuse them. That said, why the heck would Rosewill do such a dumb thing?! I'm guessing because they use a variety of suppliers over the years. ... show more

  • Does not provide second 4+4 CPU power connection for gaming MBs
Size: PMG650
Overall seems to be a good PSU, but as I was assembling it with MSI MPG Z590, I noticed there is no second 4+4 CPU cable, and 6+2 PCIe cannot be used instead. The rig does work with only one, but had I known it in advance, I'd buy something else with two connectors.

  • worked for several days
Size: PMG650
This PSU worked fine for several days and was pretty quiet, which I like. The cables included are a little short and that interfered with me keeping things as tidy as I'd like - not enough slack to reach all tie-downs, but I was able to make them work. Yesterday I went to turn on, and nothing happened - PSU is unresponsive. I put the psu in a second computer and it did not work there either - so I’m confident the PSU is bad, It is packaged nicely and was much quieter than the PSU it replaced. Wanted to swap out with a replacement but Amazon won't ship a replacement. Now I have to rebuy at a higher price which is I suppose why Amazon will not exchange. ... show more

I have been using Rosewill Green Series RG530-S12 since 2013, and I replaced all my pc components twice in those years, man this power supply still works like champ, Iast one year I have rtx3070, amd 3700x, 3 hdd ,16gb ram, 1 ssd plus rgb lights, 3x120mm fans, water cooling for cpu with two 120mm fans this psu is crazy it has only 530w power rating, and on my rig configs at least 700w psu I need but 530watt psu handles well never crash or freeze Rosewill is best psu brand so far for me I'll buy their PMG750 psu too and add new review on this post also. ... show more

  • Power Supply seems to have cooked my motherboard and I don't know what else
Sent the initial one that was damaged before shipping, and ordered one straight from newegg since it was almost $50 cheaper. Bad idea, replaced the power supply in my computer and it never got to the post screen. Put the old power supply back in and nothing powers on. So I get to probably buy at least an new motherboard and who knows what else. ... show more
