We purchased one set in gold to hang from the ceiling and for blackout drapes. Ordered another set in black to create a mock-canopy around my daughter's bed with sheer curtains. I needed a slim attachment to the wall and needed a blackout effect with curtains after ordering a blackout shade that didn’t work 100%. I also needed the white to be slightly creamy instead of stark white because my walls are dove white. This rod is perfect for all those needs.
