These come in 3 pieces - you use either all 3 or 2 - that's what they mean by adjustable - they do not slide to a custom length. Aside from this, they did fit my window perfectly. They look great and can't beat the price.

What a unique way to have a curtain rod. It is very sturdy once assembled. The screw heads were not of high quality and tended to strip out. But that said, once I tapped the holes, they worked okay. I would buy it again.

Okay soooo where are you, planning to put this? If it's anywhere where you will frequently be using the curtains you're hanging from this, then it's a hard no. This doesn't seem sturdy enough to support heavy duty curtains or frequent use. However, if you're using this to hang a few flimsy curtains in a rarely used guest bedroom such as myself, it's a decent low cost option. Also to note, when it says the size range of this I assumed it was adjustable by sliding it like many other curtain or shower rods. This is not the case. It is 4 separate pieces that twist onto one another so it's not completely customizable in size. Depending on how many of the pieces you use it can be one of 4 very specific sizes. Because of this the length of the rod over my window is kinda weird and not the right proportion but again-i put it in a room i wasn't too particular about. I'm sure this is specified in the item details but for anyone else who isn't gonna take the 30 secs to read that..just know that's the situation with these. I purchased these for my apartment. They came in a very small box so at first, I was unsure if they would be big enough, but they fit perfect. Installation was extremely easy. They are holding rather heavy linen curtains and are very durable and the hardware allows them to hold in place securely. They do not wobble at all. Definitely worth the price I paid. These are strong and functional. I feel there is a huge flaw with the design, I guess if it says in the description I missed it? There are two lengths to choose from as it comes. Either the shorter way with both ends together or you can insert the additional center rod to make it longer. Way longer. No adjusting to desired length by expansion. Thankful these worked for my smaller windows but dang what if I needed to install the brackets a tad farther away? Would have had to return these. I am however going to purchase a few more for the rest of the small windows in my home because they did work for us but overall I would of liked to have a choice on how long I wanted it within it’s specs and it be adjustable and not just two options. ... show more
