I really like this roof rack but when I started to put it on first thing I did was unscrew the locking and adjusting screw too far. The nut fell off and was very difficult to put back on. Then when I got it up on the roof I tightened it and it snapped the plastic tabs that hold the nut in place. This should not be made of cheap plastic or you should be warned not to tighten very far. I had to rig up a piece of metal in place of where the plastic snapped off. Hoping it holds?!?!?!!? ... show more

Pros-Nice appearance -Sturdy-Lockable Cons-Had to take the screw completely out to fit over the rails. Then it becomes difficult to get the nut & screw back in to tighten. Rubber seal for bottom of rails difficult to install. Installed on a 2014 Jeep Cherokee

I purchased these so I could haul my kayak on my Ford Explorer sport trac. They are easy to install and seems to be very sturdy. I have not used them yet to haul the kayak but I can’t see that it will have any problems. I do like that they have a lock feature on them. No one can take them while I’m out on the water and away from the truck. ... show more

The top rubber strip it's not big enough to actually do anything but set recessed in the notch. Anything that you put up there to get scratched or slip off, I've contacted the seller but have not heard anything about getting some kind of replacement strip. So I bought one myself just waiting for it to come in ... show more

I bought these for my 2021 Tiguan and bought another set different brand for our 2021 Bronco . These roofpax ones literally whistle at any speed and make it unbearable to drive the car . The wind and whistle noise is horrid and we took them off the car . The Bronco ones from another company made zero wind noise. Very disappointed in these ... show more
