  • Great bang for your buck
Installing is tricky but is expected with this type of roof rack. I did not use the resilient rubber pads to make installing easier lol

  • Roof rack
Perfect fit on my 2015 Kia Soul with a cargo basket. Worked out perfect for this summers trip and VERY secure.

  • These will take hours to install
Lining up the bolt holes and the bolts is almost impossible because of faulty manufacturing. I would save yourself hours of frustration and buy a product that was designed for the KIA soul.

  • Easy to assemble, EXTREMELY difficult to attach to car
Assembly of the two rails was easy enough following the video instructions. Actually getting the assembled rails onto the car however was extremely difficult, and there aren't really instructions. I assemble a lot of things and am comfortable with tools, but this experience was levels of frustration like "losing repeatedly at a rigged carnival game." Some tips: 1. the ends of the bar slide in and out to change the length -- get them in correct position (e.g. "1.5" each on the built in sliding scale in the rail for a Kia Soul 2019) by lining up with bolts with the car holes while the rubber feet aren't in place. Then take the bolts out and try to install *with* the feet. 2. mark the exact placement where the rubber feet should sit on the rail with tape if it helps you keep alignment. You'll be searching for a very tight *domed* screw hole by touch only wiggling around a long bolt, and if the foot slides too much the search will go from difficult to impossible, but you won't know. 3. The bolt isn't long enough, but the rubber foot compresses. Lean a bit on the bar while you work, and this will squish the foot and give you the extra 1-2mm of bolt you need to catch the threaded hole--if you can find it. 4. push and spin the bolt as you compress the bar to search for the hole -- the bolt can't drop into the hole because it is tightly threaded all the way to the very top of the dome, it needs to be turned into it--so keep turning to catch. 5. if your bolt suddenly drops a bit, you probably skipped off the side of the dome. 6. The threaded hole doesn't point straight up -- it is at a slight angle pointing out from the side of the car, so aim down and just slightly in towards the car center. I got lucky on bolt number 3 out of 4 and got that one in after just a few seconds, but a single bolt could take you 5-10 minutes of trying to catch those threads. Just try to stay calm. Once they are finally on, the rails seem sturdy and quite nice. ... show more

  • Rack my Soul
Did not like the screws used for getting them into the rack mounting points. Put drivers side on first, then tried to get passanger in, kinda of tricky but got it. I don't like the protective pads. Just feels a little off. Work great and love them tho. Can't hold too much, also very slippery. When nothings on rack, makes lots of noise at higher speeds. can't quick release. Overall, great add to my soul. Install is still easy, just tricky angle I guess. ... show more

  • Hard to install but otherwise good
These crossbars took so long to install but that was expected. One side of the bars did come broken but I noticed that you can actually still use them as long as the other side is in tact because the tension from both sides keep it in place.

  • Nice!
Its kind of hard to connect to the top, but at the end its look great and its useful.

  • Very difficult to install on roof.
This roof rack crossbar has apparent quality and straightforward assembly of individual crossbars. However, the installation onto the roof was notably challenging, mainly due to alignment issues with the bolts. After, arduously and extensively fidgeting with the bolts, I was able to install the crossbars onto the roof. The rubber doors don’t seem to have good seal against the roof. Improved and more detailed instructions would greatly enhance the overall user experience. ... show more
