Ok so I got this to be able to easily carry my husband's folding electric wheelchair around easier than having to fold it and lift it into the cargo area. In that it's perfect, however my husband's wheelchair is narrower than most of the higher priced electric wheelchairs on the market such as jazzy etc and just barely fits. It's sturdy enough and easy enough to assemble. May be a bit heavy for elderly people as its about 75lbs assembled. Is as mentioned a bit narrow so make sure you carefully measure your chair or scooter but overall for our purpose it's a great product and price wasn't bad either compared to some on the market. ... show more

The included instructions are useless. Hardly any useful information. Next time please just include a clear color picture or two of how the hardware is installed. Well-constructed and sturdy Hardware.

    • Not well made. You kinda get what you pay for.
The ramp is too short so it doesn't reach the ground properly. With the ramp being short it makes it very steep on the back of a little pickup or SUV so the power chairs wheels start to spin because of the uneven surface.

I bought this for my 80 year old parents. It was to heavy for my mom to lift up and down, the pin was hard for her to pull out. The ramp was to high to ride scooter up and over. I felt my parents would get hurt with this product and decided to return. BUYER BEWARE if you return you have to pay for shipping which $157.00 at the post office. The ramp it’s self was $200. Every thing was easy to assemble i thing i had to adjust was the welded nut on the ramp had to be drilled bigger. Sitting in the my wheelchair it took 45 minutes to build. Instruction very blurred but worked with a little ingenuity. Overall i give a 5/5. This was the only one at this price that was wide enough for my Jazzy select elite chair. ... show more

The unit seemed strong and stout initially, but after only one use, the holes used to secure it in the upright position do not line up so I can't secure it in place unless I use a bungee cord to secure it to the scooter.
